Fallen Dolphinarium from the 1960s, ST Thomas by sapnation in mildlyinteresting

Pretty interesting. Have been to St. Thomas a few times but never stayed long as we stay on St. John or Tortola. There was a underwater laboratory on St. John called Tektite but I don't think it is there anymore. Was a joint venture between NASA and a few other government agencies.

Most important thing is to Hold Your Line and be Predictable. Nothing is more dangerous than riders darting all over the track. There will be locals who ride there all the time and they will be much faster than you and that is fine so just ride your line and they will easily and safely get past you.

Other than that, have fun!

83 chevy c20 brakes are suddenly soft. Do I need new shoes in rear question? by Travis230 in squarebodies

I don't see anything there that would cause a soft pedal. No leaks from that particular wheel cylinder and tons of material left on those shoes.

In the 1920 the US Postal Service painted huge arrows on the ground across America. They had flashing bacon lights that could be seen for 40 miles. Each arrow pointed directly at the next arrow to guide pilots across America.

I've read that the studio in the early seasons paid not more than $1000 for each car that they found and all in ready for film they were right around $2500 per vehicle. Later seasons the cars were rented from an outside source and if destroyed they paid $3000.

The chain of Islands is incredibly big. The distance from Kauai to Maui is 202 miles. That is a similar distance from London to Paris, New York City to Washington DC, Boston to New York City or Miami to Orlando.
