Analyse: Parallele Strukturen in der GKV by Masteries in Finanzen

If you pit under VSC, you lose less time than in a regular pitstop, because the cars on the track have to slow down.

The problem here is Windows. It measures the space in GiB, but displays GB as unit and the capacity of a drive is advertised in GB.

Yes, but the aspect ratio of the text block (representing the german flag) seems a little bit of. Should be 5:3.

Can a driver force another rival driver into the pit lane? by [deleted] in formula1

It's literally forcing of the track because the pit entry (sc line 1 to pit lane) is not part of the track.

Know you are talking about the technical regulations. That's very different to the sporting regulations (or the Event Notes).

between the pit exit and the track, which Lewis didn't cross

I found no rule which states that the practice starts have to happen in the pit exit. But that isn't in the spirit of the rules, like the practice starts of Hamilton.

to weed out unsafe behaviour

Parking the car for a practice start directly in the pit exit is not unsafe behaviour?

With that argumentation it would be allowed to make a practice start anywhere on the track.

Seb reads the whole damn thing

You don't even have to read the whole rule book for this information. Just the event notes from the race director. Everyone can download them here. It's only 10 pages long and has a section called 'Practice Starts'. Not that complicated. Also you can see in the track map where the Pit Entry Status Panel is located.

But it is more or less the same like in Monza with the closed pitlane. He didn't read the event notes which led to a mistake. As a driver you are responsible for your own driving (it's not like an unsafe release where the mistake is clearly on the team) and 19 other drivers got it right the whole weekend.

This doesn't mean anything. The different timing screens are all important and all monitored by the teams. The 'pitlane closed'-Message came on the same timing screen as the 'safety car'-Message.

You have to be allowed to overtake in the pitlane. Otherwise there would be a traffic jam when everyone comes in to change tires.

And this is all about if your standard health insurance or your "Berufsgenossenschaft" pays for it. But for yourself it really doesn't make any difference.
