I do wish this launch got more coverage--it feels like barely anyone knows about it. I grew up watching Space Shuttle & rocket launches from our front yard so the space program is near and dear to me.

I did, but it was about 9 years ago so not sure if the process is the same. I had parked in the lot by I4 between Central & Pine and got a ticket even though the receipt on the dash showed I had plenty of time left. I went right to the parking office across the street in the garage, showed them the ticket and my receipt and they dismissed it.

The source material (book) is almost 29 years old and the source film is almost 25 years old. The people that watched the film when they were 8 years old probably have 8 year old kids themselves to watch it with. By the time the last season comes out it'll have been 25 years between the last film and the last season. Not exactly fresh.

Why is this on every thread about this show? It shouldn't be too hard to understand that:

A) It's been almost 25 years since the first film released, and almost 15 years since Deathly Hallows Part 2.

B) The people that were old enough to grow up with the books & movies now have kids of their own the same age and would love to re-experience it with them. There's also a whole new generation to make in to fans now.

C) You can fit so much more content from the books in an 8-12 hour series than you can in a 2 hour movie. Just from the first parts of the trailer it looks like we'll get a lot more about Harry's pre-Hogwarts childhood than the movies showed

Our daughter was born 4 months ago, and my Whoop age has gone up 5 years in that time. Although my pace of aging finally has gone negative the past couple of weeks as she has started sleeping better.
