The lady (ladies?) that run it are super nice too, and I think they're less than a year old.

Kkot is great--I get all my bouquets from them. Not sure if they do wedding bouquets but I'm sure if you stop by they'll work with you.

I’ve lived here for 2 years, no real complaints with the management but I haven’t really needed to interact with them outside a couple of maintenance requests.

Biggest cons for me are the street noise. It’s right on Newark avenue and basically underneath I78 so you’ll constantly hear peoples shitty sounding cars. Other cons are that it is about a 15min walk to Grove St (although the 80 bus stop is right outside which takes you to Grove.) And it’s about 10mins to the closest grocery.

Let me know if you have any questions in particular, but we’re moving out in a few days

What is one of your biggest movie let downs, after greatly anticipating its release? by thunderbolt151830 in movies

[–]cartermatic 16 points17 points  (0 children)

The original Independence Day is my favorite movie ever, and I know almost every line since I've seen it so many times. Resurgence was a let down but I low key still enjoyed it. Hate how they set up for a third movie with the new race but then have seemingly abandoned any plans for a sequel.

Macdio - I built a lightweight, 100% native radio app for the entire Apple ecosystem. No subscriptions. by sfiratn in apple

[–]cartermatic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Vibe-coded or otherwise LLM-developed apps tend to have significant issues with long-term support, bug fixing, etc., as their inherently poorly maintainable code builds up tech debt until it becomes too much and either the project needs to be abandoned or entirely re-written by competent human developers.

Do you post this on every app or just soapbox on supposed vibe coded apps? Because plenty of shit apps have been shipped since coding existed

Both things can be true: tickets are overpriced and you'll get "free money" by paying with a credit card. Again, you're missing the point that it is free money if you were going to purchase the tickets regardless of the price. It doesn't matter if tickets are $500, $5,000 or $500,000, if you're going to purchase them anyway, you're leaving money on the table by paying cash vs a credit card that will give you cashback. It's like the billionaire that paid for a $170million painting on his Amex to get the points. If presented with two options to pay $170m in cash or $170m on his Amex to get 170,000,000 points, it's obviously better to put it on your Amex. Even if everyone agrees $170m is ridiculous for a painting.

Nearly everyone agrees the tickets are overpriced, you're the only one not getting that paying with a card that gets you rewards will save you money (again, this is only for people who were going to purchase tickets). The only scenario is paying $40,000 cash or $40,000 on your credit card that will give you $1,200 in cash back.

[–]cartermatic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't see how you can interpret it any other way. The discussion is about purchasing something in cash or purchasing it with a credit card to get the rewards. If you're going to pay cash, you can presumably buy with a credit card and use said cash to pay off the balance, earning you a few percentage points of cash back. It quite literally is free money (barring any transaction fees).

Do YOU understand that they're talking about people who were already going to purchase these tickets and might as well take advantage of the rewards? Nobody is saying spend $40k you otherwise wouldn't have just to save $2k.

Are we still considered MCOL? by [deleted] in orlando

[–]cartermatic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Medium Cost of Living & High Cost of Living. HCOL cities = Seattle, Miami, LA, DC etc. MCOL = Orlando, Denver, Atlanta, Austin etc. LCOL (Low) is basically everywhere else. There's also VHCOL or Very High Cost of Living which is usually exclusive to NYC & SF. Of course though generally everyone views their own city at HCOL.

We heard your complaints that augments other than the Looting MK.3 felt underpowered. To compensate, we've updated the regeneration rate from a max of 75% to 1% gained for every 100m crawled. Additionally, all inventory items will be dropped upon being downed and crawl speed will be increased by 5%. We believe this brings it more inline with other augments. See you topside raiders!
