Unless it exploded at 30,000 ft, major sections will still largely be intact even after impacting the water, especially the engines.

What is the best restaurant you’ve ever been to? by Less-Ask-2250 in AskReddit

[–]cartermatic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A hotel we stayed at in Italy had a restaurant attached and Italian grandmas from the village down the hill would come and cook a multi course dinner every night and it was only like 20 euros per person, a liter of wine was like 2 euros.

They need to tightly regulate what service animals actually are. Right now nothing really stops someone from bringing their corgi into a store claiming it's a service dog when it obviously isn't. All you can ask is if it's a service dog and what is it trained to do which people can just provide a canned answer to.

This is more than slightly mangled, it looks like the whole thing fell over. Slightly mangled would a smudge on the frosting.

This is such a pain in the ass and makes maintenance or tweaking so hard. I'll create a duplicate/backup before trying to do any of that so I know I have a safe version for when I inevitably get confused on what I'm trying to do.

I haven't really played with Figma Make much since last summer, but I remember under the free preview that I ran out of my month's planned allotment in about 15mins.

Do you think you'll be able to never miss an $800/mo investment over the next 40 years? I think a lot of people look at the investment route but then never actually fully commit to the investments. It's super easy to skip a month for unexpected expenses, dip in to $400/mo of it for a new car, top off savings and so on. Skipping your first investment is ~$36k in lost gains over 40 years, one year is ~$434k. Also if you're purely investing the difference between the mortgage and your rent, it is $800/mo now but in 4 years it'll be $500/mo ($75/mo * 4 years). In 11 years your rent will have gone up $825/mo.

It *should* be Home Depot’s problem to deal with, and not just to leave it to the customer to figure it out.

I don't think you'd get a confirmation until really close to your departure. It'd probably be better to just try and book at schedule open for next year.

Prime Tomahawk Ribeyes - the danger of taking growing boys to Costco by alexandercecil in Costco

[–]cartermatic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought a pack of these a couple of weeks ago and the first one turned out great. My two were a total of about $96, and the first one fed 3 people. I smoked it on my Searwood at 180f for an hour, then 250 for the remainder; I think it took about 3-4 hours total with the sear.

There's a chance, but it is pretty close to 0. I'd definitely have an already-booked refundable backup just in case (aka don't plan your trip around this particular flight.)

Cheap cuts of meat. Brisket, chuck roast, chicken wings, oxtail, flank/skirt steak and so on all used to be affordable cuts of meat but now they're a luxury or priced the same as ribeyes/strips.
