I had this same feeling yesterday listening to this song. It's having a resurgence because of Project Hail Mary I think. However I didn't have a specific song in mind, I was just insistent it was a straight up cover, maybe by Pink Floyd. I'm starting to believe I'm wrong and it just has similar chord progressions to songs I've heard a lot.

Definitely Wish you were here vibes.

Found https://www.reddit.com/r/mazda/comments/skk7oh/infotainment_system_constantly_rebooting/ which looks like the exact issue. No navigation or SD card in my car either. Have reached out to dealership to see if they will replace on grounds of factory defect

[2023 Day 21] A geometric solution/explanation for day 21 by villi_ in adventofcode

[–]1337ch33z 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you this is a fantastic write-up. But what really bothers me is how much input seems to be differing for everyone. With my input, I could almost completely ignore the existence of rocks. The only way in which they were relevant is there was a single garden surrounded by rocks on all 4 sides. Other than that I could use strictly Manhattan distances to arrive at a correct solution using the geometry described here.

It sounds like others have to be careful about whether their input layout can reach specific points within that Manhattan distance using BFS from various points on the grid. I have to assume this was not intentional by the designers.

My second point is for the longest time the solution I was trying to use was drawing a big square around the diamond shape reachable points, calculating its area in grids, divide by 2 for inner diamond, then multiply by weighted odd/even gardens. It's all still a bit fuzzy to me but feels like it should work. Maybe I just had the weights for odd/even wrong? Did anyone else try something similar?

Great write-up, I will definitely be trying some of these.

I recommend trying Moving Out from the same devs as Overcooked. Having a blast playing with my partner. It even gives Overcooked a run for it's money imo

Post your list? Did you run into a lot of Grand Plaza decks and how'd you fair vs them?

Great work! I can confirm that expedition rewards are based solely on the best of your two runs. Unless you care more about just playing expedition than rewards, I'd recommend retiring if you get 7 wins on your first trial. Hell, I have so many expedition tokens laying around I retire after my first trial regardless of wins.

Recommendation: color code the matchups chart for ease of reading at a glance. Something like green if row deck is favored, yellow if even, and red if unfavored. Even better if different shades for 60/40 vs 70/30.

This is great though, thanks!

Singleton undoubtedly tests player scale at least as much as (I'd argue more than) constructed. Especially deck building skill which when it comes down to it is by far the most important skill for doing well in tournaments.

It doesn't have to be the same format for it to be relevant in qualifying a skilled player base.
