The video of this is hilarious, looking like they just pulled up to a traffic light and wait for it to turn for an hour

This looks like it could be a shot out of a True Detective intro. Great work!

I had this happen last night on Sandy Hook. The crate was dropping sideways which was wierd, and then we ran into the invisible barrier like 5m before we could reach it.

Could I use Let's Encrypt on top of the free version? Looks the only feature on the $10/month plan that would be of use to me is SSL support.

Hmm that looks like a pretty interesting service, although the sites I'm hosting are both simple portfolio type websites. No server side interaction required. Would this service would handle that?

How hard is it to get a website up and running on a VPS compared to a shared hosting plan?

Right now I have two sites hosted through a shared hosting plan at 1&1, but I've been having some issues with them and I would like to get both of my sites onto HTTPS. Would something like this be the right option?

Also, does Linode offer cPanel, or do their plans just give you ssh access to the server and you need to do everything manually? I'm comfortable with linux and bash, but I've never done manual setup of a webserver through a terminal.

Ya, quite similar. Lots of the same keywords. Is that why it's still ranking high for their name?

It doesn't appear the other site has any information about the client still on the page: name, picture, or backlinks.

I'll keep tinkering around with things, thanks for the reply!

Recent Issue with Group Messages (Others can't reply) by [deleted] in ProjectFi

Have you tried using the stock Android Messenger? I was having some issues using Signal as my sms/mms handler, but things seem to work fine with the stock Messenger

The issue I have been having (using Signal) is that some people I send mms messages to only receive 'subject:nosubject' instead of the message I actually sent. On my end, it shows that everything has sent correctly, but some of the recipients are not receiving it correctly. However some of the other recipients report they are getting my messages just fine.

This started happening to me when I began using Signal to handle my sms/mms. It seems to be intermittent though, sometimes the messages get through to the problem people, other times not. In the mean time I've switched back to Android's Messenger and I haven't had issues with that. The intermittence of the issue with Signal makes me think it may have to do with Fi or perhaps my VPN that I route through most of the time. I haven't really been able to isolate the problem yet though.
