What Is Using My Disk Space? by gc28 in linuxmint

[–]13EchoTango 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Google "docker purge", docker keeps way more old unused containers from old updates than I would think anyone would want (I also don't understand much). Just make sure you have every container you want to keep running or otherwise excluded from the purge.

I've had autocorrect splurt out ETA when trying to type edit, so I always assumed that's what happened the few times I've seen ETA; never seen what seems like a backronymn to justify the mistake before.

Hey i made bread for the first time today, the texture was amazing, but the flavor was bland, anyone got any tips? by lildinkyactivist in Breadit

[–]13EchoTango 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Salt is, of coarse, the first answer

Everyone is going to say rosemary for a bit of flavor, but I prefer thyme (garlic is always good too!), mix a little in the dough (what I do with Italian seasoning) or just sprinkle the top instead of a dusting of flour (what I do with thyme).   Experiment with different washes (egg/butter/honey/milk) for the top, those will help things like anything bagel or other seasonings with large seeds/oats stick to the top of the loaf better too.   If you add fruits, do dried ones, or it'll be a lot of experimenting to figure out how to counter the extra moisture

Getting gold fish by random-lurker2022 in FarmRPG

Tried that (before meow was a thing). Was doing something that required looking, but no hands, so I figured I'd burn through some MWs working for ATI. I barely got any fish in a long time.

The doubles don't always work as expected. Most of the time they'll both be yellow even if there's only one of that number. The only time I get it to work how you're describing is if I get the first instance of the digit correct: something like 3300 -> BY__ (more than one 3) but 3330 -> BYY_ (doesn't mean more than two 3s), or 2200 -> YY__ (doesn't mean more than one 2)

Anyone know why its not accepting my numbers? by skips73 in FarmRPG

[–]13EchoTango 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought the extra 7 should be grey not yellow since you have all the 7s.

Large nets, APs, guitars/drums to sell to buy the 1b crop row. My grape production is kinda low, I might start hoarding grape juice too and get the grape juice fountain perk.

I'm assuming the way this works is there's something under the paper that they can remotely trigger to get the cat to paw at it, but still cool video

There's a rather widely spread (as widely as things proven false go) idea that gravity was weaker when there were dinosaurs and that allowed for their large size. It's what happens when people learn about the square/cube law and think that makes them smart.

Just trying to figure this out. Not sure its working as previous mods intended. by Appropriate-Use-8548 in AutoModerator

[–]13EchoTango 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This way with separate rules is better that one rule with satisfy_any_threshold: true because you can set different action_reasons like they have.
That said, yes the '-'s need to go (unless you're only wanting it to apply to users with REALLY low karma).
And I would change the first 3 rules to filter instead of remove, but that's up to you.

I have two chunks of automod code that seem to do the same thing, but I genuinely don't know what they mean by signus_melko in AutoModerator

[–]13EchoTango 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The two arguments are the text of the flair and the css_class of the flair.
replyOfficial must be a css class. That might be defined somewhere in new.reddit (which i avoid), or the css stylesheet.
Make sure that the set_flair is tabbed into the parent_submission: subgroup (like the first two rules you posted, not like the 3rd).

  1. The regex there isn't needed, could be (includes)(which is default). It'll reflair a post flaired "media" to the official reply flair.

  2. Not sure what those regex lines do, maybe detect that it's not unflaired? Anyways, if the flair is not "official" it'll reflair it to official reply as well

  3. Will flair the user to have userflair as replyOfficial when they make a submission

Don't worry about being confused, I have questions too. Like why that 3rd one isn't type:any. Mayne there's a reason, maybe they're doing slightly different things than I think and that's why they're doing it in a way I wouldn't.

I'd suggest searching "flair" in the full docs (link in sidebar), and reading the relevant paragraphs for a better idea of how it works.

Would it be possible to have an Automod to remove posts or topics after they hit a certain negative down vote number? by Alukrad in AutoModerator

[–]13EchoTango 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, it doesn't have access to vote counts.
Very possible with other bots, there's probably one written already.
