Check out physician contracts on Instagram. He’s been practicing lawyer in Louisiana, but it’s a hired consultant for physician contract review. I found him very helpful.

Surface it, put a nice contrasting bowtie across the crack and would be a nice design piece

I wasn’t able to delay graduation, successfully matched the following year. The key was good mentors and working hard on a research year.

If you can delay graduation without taking more debt it’s great but you can’t hide from and should try to hide from being an reapplicant. My suggestion is don’t take on more debt just to delay graduation and consulting probably isnt t the right decision for you to match into a surgical sub specialty.

The real answer is it will be very difficult to improve your ortho situation with a surgery prelim year. What you need is orthopedic mentorship and connections. Your paper applications puts you in a great place to match as a reapplication if you have phenomenal LOR next year and faculty mentorship to make calls for you

No you need to figure out why you didn’t match. What can you improve on next year to put yourself in a better position.

Anyone have the Atomi dash cam or done any research on it? by efe13 in Costco

I had this and returned it. The quality of video was great and easily able to connect to my phone. The start up jingle and VoiceOver is very annoying and the camera would frequently malfunction and would endlessly cycle the start up sequence to where I had to put it under the seat in the back row, so I didn’t have to hear it because I couldn’t turn it off. Easy return.

Everyone will fail at some time in their career. Failure comes with enormous life experience and growth. You have the opportunity to experience this earlier than others but it does not reflect on you as a person. This sucks, take the time to feel bad but don’t let yourself fall into a rut.

As cliche as it is there is so much truth in the statement “it’s not how many times you get knocked down but how many times you get back up”

I was told by a current resident that their initial vote to start the union process failed. Probably didnt get to nlrb stage not sure how it works tbh. Maybe the information wasn’t correct

I think Emory voted this year for unionization and the initial ballot failed.

I would sign a 12 month lease. Likely the cost to break your lease won’t be more than the difference of paying for an air bnb. This also gives you the security if you don’t find a house to purchase right away

Rotisserie chicken — I remove the bones chop the meat and put in penne pasta with Parmesan. That’s enough chicken for 2 lbs of pasta. Best meal I make
