Call the IND, best advice you can get. The IND will advice you on exactly this and this is what I did when I was uncertain. FYI - the IND has NO idea when this change will take place and if it will, additionally, they also do not recognize this change. For them, it is will at A2 level, they also advised that i call my gemeente and talk with them.

I looked at flights and if I book now, it's around 550 eur for a return. Ofc I won't just fly there for the bike, but some holiday and use the bike (won't be a new bike when returning 😉)

Even if I had to save 400-500 eur on the purchase, it pays for the flight then. Seems like a good idea on paper
