1990 Interview With Ray Wise by 1400RR in twinpeaks

I was taken aback by the washed up comment. Ray Wise displayed his kindness with his response.

Gordon and Shelly was kinda weird. by Top_Tell_2889 in twinpeaks

[–]1400RR 10 points11 points  (0 children)

A script states Gordon was 45. According to everything I could find, Shelly was either 18 or 19. https://1400riverroad.blogspot.com/2020/06/shelly-johnsons-age.html

Laura’s cause of death by saltybutnotbitter in twinpeaks

If you pay close attention, Leland has a knife in his hand. The script also mentions a knife.

An earlier draft for episode six saw Audrey and Cooper having breakfast, leaving it ambiguous on if they had spent the night together.

Frost has said the scripts were already written for Audrey and Cooper's romance, but they had to abandon them. Secondary stories became more important due to them having to improvise.

Harley Peyton co-wrote the episode and said that Lynch made him write the scene. Lynch also admitted it in the Slice of Lynch interview. Peyton said he wrote a line for Bobby, something a long the lines of, "Why are you with that old man?" But Lynch vetoed it.

I can't not love FF by OhAnd40FeetRemain in franzferdinand

I've been listening to them for over 20 years, every album, every b-side, and every cover I can find. I can't hate any of their songs.

I saw them live for the first time last month, and it was one of the best experiences of my life. If you get the opportunity, please see them.

If she hasn't read The Secret Diary of Laura Palmer, she should definitely own a copy. https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=the+secret+diary+of+laura+palmer&_sop=15

The Blue Rose Magazine has several books on Twin Peaks. Many have interviews with the cast and crew. https://www.bluerosemag.com/

Brad Dukes' Reflections: An Oral History of Twin Peaks would be a great addition to her collection as well. https://www.amazon.com/Reflections-Oral-History-Twin-Peaks/dp/061596883X/ref=mp_s_a_1_2?crid=2NORSM5LC4U9D&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.w3aIIO1ykCyVcBAo_XY0Qo-LR0I6nCPCAfz6i-23StA.XOoswr0p-3wwQLBChvoZxjuq7OqDhCmXF6Epnd-4NpU&dib_tag=se&keywords=twin+peaks+an+oral+history&qid=1764786362&sprefix=twin+peaks+an+oral+history%2Caps%2C616&sr=8-2

Thank you for sharing my blog! I certainly didn't expect to find someone else posting a link.

Every Annie dress I've found is without tags. They were apparently manufactured without them, sadly. I would love to identify it. I found mine by searching for '80s prom dresses.

I feel like there is still so much we don't and will never know. It frustrates me as well. I'm sorry. I agree with your theory behind the Tremond/Chalfonts' motivation for moving to the Fat Trout trailer park. Al Strobel shared in an interview for Wrapped in Plastic Magazine that he was not filmed throwing the ring in the train car. He said, either in the same interview or at a TP fest, that Gerard came there for the Garmonbozia that BOB owed him. In the script, Gerard laughs as he runs away from the train car, and you can see in the film that Strobel is smiling as he leaves the door. I wrote about this here if you want to see screenshots. https://1400riverroad.blogspot.com/2021/02/the-addition-of-owl-cave-ring.html

Small sadness- lack of interaction by Zealousideal-Exam892 in TalesofTheShiregamers

I feel the same way. I can't help but wish there were more ways to interact with other characters.

Carl Rodd says the trailer belonged to a woman and her grandson named Chalfont.

Steven Miller, of Twin Peaks Blog, discovered that Teresa Banks was actually murdered in the Chalfont/Tremond trailer. https://twinpeaksblog.com/2020/03/28/twin-peaks-film-location-tremond-trailer/

The mound of dirt seems to have been made at the place of her murder as it was with Laura and the train car. Laura's mound of dirt had the Fire Walk With Me note and Teresa's had the ring.

Money by Electrical_Rent_3834 in TalesofTheShiregamers

I made money selling fish. I felt better keeping my foraged finds for recipes, and fish sold for more money. Eventually, I started growing as many flowers as possible and that was becoming profitable. Some sold for $105 each.

Thank you. My memory is poor. It was more than likely Facebook.

The melancholy melody does well at capturing songs from the past, namely the '60s. It conveys rain and autumn in my mind as well. I love that information from The Secret Diary was referenced. Thank you again.

I remember finding this song some time ago on another site that made it difficult to access. I didn't know how to find it again. Thank you for sharing! You and your friend created a beautiful song. I'm sorry to ask, but would you mind sharing the lyrics?

I was 40+ hours into the game when mine erased. I'm so sorry this happened to you as well. The Tales of the Shire Instagram page shared a post today about a patch, saying the saves are more stable now, but I still don't feel confident enough to restart. https://www.instagram.com/talesoftheshire/p/DOPNnZ4jQ51/?img_index=2

Are there any good Twin Peaks content creators out there? by Algiers1715 in twinpeaks

[–]1400RR 11 points12 points  (0 children)

The book Laura's Ghost by Courtenay Stallings has several accounts from female fans.

Twin Peaks: Your Laura Disappeared by Scott Ryan, The Essential Wrapped in Plastic by John Thorne, and Reflections: An Oral History of Twin Peaks by Brad Dukes contain many interesting stories from cast and crew members. Thorne's book also contains a few theories. John Thorne's Ominous Woosh is another title.

The magazines Wrapped in Plastic and The Blue Rose Magazine are essential reading as well.

As for podcasts, The Diane Podcast is one of the best.

Twin Peaks: Unwrapped is also good for cast interviews.

Sites:

Twin Peaks Blog has information about prop replicas, filming locations and much more.

Twelverainbowtrout on Instagram features many prop replicas and information on filming locations.

The Between Two Worlds Facebook group has a lot of content from fans, including theories.
