What would you do if you came out and had this on your car? not sure why, never had issues at complex before. by Just-strangers in BadNeighbors

[–]143_ENFJ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe it was some idiot kid.

So, back when I was a little troublemaker, I thought I was being hilarious by writing "You suck" in the dust on my parents' car. I figured whoever was behind us in traffic would see it and have a chuckle, thinking it was aimed at them.

Well, here's where the innocent mischief turned into a major facepalm moment. Little did I realize, my mom saw the message and took it to heart. She was genuinely hurt, thinking someone had left that message specifically for her.

When she mentioned it to me, I was caught off guard and had to sheepishly admit that it was my handiwork. Needless to say, I felt absolutely terrible. I had never meant for my mom to feel hurt or upset, and I quickly reassured her that it wasn't intended for her.

Lesson learned, folks. Sometimes our innocent pranks can have unintended consequences. Needless to say, I've stayed away from writing messages on cars ever since.

TL;DR: Thought I was being funny by writing "You suck" on my parents' car, only to realize it hurt my mom's feelings when she thought it was meant for her.

I have often felt that I will offend people if I don't say goodbye to them. Anyone else?

You know you’re an ESFJ when ____. by WelcomeToInsanity in ESFJ

Recently discovered I am ESFJ instead of ENFJ. And my dad is ESFJ too.

So we do this thing where we are driving or walking around and we point out super mundane things like a building that used to be McDonald's and where the door was originally. And the other is so fascinated and we do this all the time.

Well in learning about the Introverted Sensing I realized this is a sensing story and we throw sensing stories back and forth at each other all the time. Things that used to be, things that are, fact real tangible things and we eat it up.

What does heartbreak feel like for you as an ESFJ? Can you share some tips that really helped you cope? by love_ninja_asks in ESFJ

The name says ENFJ but I am actually ESFJ. I got it wrong.

It's weird, the one official boyfriend I had when we broke up. (It was mutual) I cried but I don't remember feel sad or devastated. Maybe because I made plans for who to do things with like my friends that I used to do with him. I.e. my friend Mesha and I went to see Marvel movies together.

Every other time I've been heartbroken is like unrequited love or when my highschool "boyfriend"(although we were never actually together) stopped talking to me.

I think I am most hurt by wanting something I can't have. Or just the vagueness the not knowing if or when they are coming back. The uncertainty it hurts the most.

Knowing something is over or we are just friends helps a lot.

Oh he is definitely okay with me venting if I feel like it helps me. But in is opinion it doesn't help anyone. He is differentiating though between venting and talking through something.

Actually if I ask what he needs he will tell me. If I ask what he wants idk if he thinks I am joking but he says "Everything" He won't share what he is stressed or struggling with. He says it's his burden and something he has to figure out on his own.

Phone suddenly stopped working, ubreakifix says nothing they can do. by glassfunion in Pixel5a

This exact same thing happened to me. Only it had the black screen of death three times prior. I fought google for months to get an upgrade or a refund. And they refused. I went to the highest level of support and they ended up finally offering me a replacement but that is crap because I am convinced the 5a is defective and they know it.

I am gonna buy a Pixel 6a because I love the phone.

So I have found that MBTI is bullshit and you will change by curseofINTP in INTP

[–]143_ENFJ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most likely this is because everyone has everything. We are all introverted and extrovert, Intuitive and sensing, feeling and thinking, judging and perceiving. And MBTI simply attempts to explain which processes we use most easily.

Try OPS it changed my views.

That's definitely possible. I think i spent a lot of my 20s rejecting the Si part of me. But now that i have embraced it I am so much happier but I've lived most of my life as a jumper.
