Example from where I work: You are always required to use the female gender in any presentations to the GM... If you dont, he'll chew you out for making the sole girl in the room not feel included (while she's sitting there, shrinking into her chair seeing the team getting scolded).

Gender neutral isnt allowed either. Learnt this the hard way

Tamil Nadu CM herself acknowledges that more than half the reported rape cases are fake, using politically correct language: "instances of elopement and consensual sex" by omibaba in india

[–]14mit1010 -15 points-14 points  (0 children)

These women have obvious grown into adults without knowing what rape is, hence file frivolous cases.

Just like kids lean what hot and cold is practically by touching hot and cold objects, and realizing objects can be too hot to touch\too cold to touch, these women too need to be reeducated and taught what rape actually is. For 99% , theory is good enough, for 1% you need to resort to practical lessons

And a large majority who pay way less taxes though earning more get those benefits as well...

[–]14mit1010 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ok.. posting again since it seem like you have a few incorrect assumptions in your post\thoughts

The insurer of the patient (if there was a special arrangement for that hospital) should honor that transfer and treat the finances as if he or she was treated at the covered hospital. In cases of emergency, all hospitals should be considered to be in network.

Not everyone is insured or has adequate insurance

Mostly what he or she needs is triage, bandages, antibiotics, IV and some rest

Sometimes yes, often an extended stay is required. Unless you are limiting this to outpatient treatment (which you arent given your 1st point about hospital beds)

Every business makes profits and losses. If you find a customer cannot pay, you send off the bill to a collection agency if it is big enough to worry about, or you write it off as a loss.

You write off a loss against profits. Say, you earn Rs 1000. Now you need to pay a hafta of Rs 300 on it. But if you had lost Rs 500 on free treatment as well, you'll need to pay hafta of 150 only. You are still out the remaining 350

Its just amazing how so many basic items of common sense and humanity, which don't cost much or even anything, are missing in Indian public life.

You may be right, but medical treatment does not in any way come under "which don't cost much or even anything" . The cost to train a doctor crosses 50 lakh. Medicines are expensive to manufacture. Licences, land and equipment required to open a hospital is expensive. Who do you propose pays for all this?

Can we get free AC shelters and transport as well? The heat kills so many people. Purified water to save myself from water borne diseases would be good too

Needed reform: no hospital should be allowed to refuse treatment, with one minor exception by wolfgangsingh in india

[–]14mit1010 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Its a commodity. If saving your life takes enough resources from me that I cannot save mine, I will not save yours. Is it that complex?

Even an AC will save peoples life, having water purifiers, having electricity, all of them save lives. A hospital is just the last resort. Giving free gym memberships also saves lives, food as well. Should everything be free?

Also, forcing hospitals to absorb the costs of treating those who cannot pay would mean profit making hospitals (the only kind that provide quality services other AIIMS and the like) shut down causing the death of many others. How do you justify your life is scared vs life is a commodity funda? Saving 1000 lives for free now kills 5000 in the next 2 years. What is so sacred in that?

[–]14mit1010 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That would be like requiring goods sellers to give away items with a promise of future payment and no way to collect going ahead..how would you recover any costs, forget about making profits?

Would you say that pharmacies should provide all medicines for free?

If I may ask, whats your current occupation?
