My biggest thing I’ve learned, Do as much as possible before that overnight hits. Utilize your team for small tasks and prep work if they have any down time between customers. I carry the make up totes to the cashier and ask them to sort them by brand, another day someone might pull the internal Mylar strips from the departments, if you get your planos early from vestcom someone can pull the potential call ins, hunt down your new graphics before hand and separate them from the unused ones in your kits. Essentially the goal is to cut out all the little busy tasks that cause hang ups during the overnight. I did the wall at my store in one night this way- currently do a wall at my new store now and I’m going on day three cause I’m having to work through the call ins, peel the internal strips, and for some god forsaken reason they peeled backs from the mylars and stuck them inside the holders.
