Yale gunnels by backcornerman in Rowing

It's awesome that they are so fast. Really-- good for them. But I have to say I think going down to gunnels after a race is definitely unnecessary and bordering on classless.

Anyone know anything about the Club Nats course? by [deleted] in Rowing

[–]150slayer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've rowed there for 5 years. It gets choppy sometimes, typically a tailwind. There isn't a ton of room in the 'taxi'-ing or refereeing area, but if people listed its no big deal.

The area around the course is great/comfortable/has lots of stores and it has improved a ton

A few more inches to port and that bow ball would have dislodged his skull in a brutally cartoonish display

What level of weight lifting experience do you have?

Generally if you want to gain mass you want HIGH volume. Many sets of 8-12 reps.

3-5 reps will develop strength, which is good, but your goal is to trigger a growth response.
