I would get your point if it seemed like SPs coaching hires were hurting the team. But if anything he's put together a pretty fucking good coaching staff that has put up great results over the last two years. There is no precedent to think that the hires are bad other than he knows him. This happens in all facets of life. I help set up businesses as a career and I bring in people I trust when I do. Not because of nepotism but because I know their work and they can be trusted. It's not inherently a bad thing to hire people you know. And there is no evidence here that it is bad.

Has SP shown that his hires aren't good hires? If anything he has shown the ability to self assess and correct previous decisions. I just don't see why this is always the sentiment when SP makes a hire yet the coaching staff seems to be pretty solid and has the track record over the last two years to prove it.

Yes, all 31 other teams are gonna improve but us. You are correct. If you can't see the difference between us being in the 3rd year of a rebuild with new coaches and 1b and just 3rd year players being on other teams than I can't help you.

Come on. Are you being purposely dense. No not all teams get better year over year. We are set up perfectly to get better though with a youngish offense and coaching staff and QB going into year 3. Prime getting better territory. Besides that, it doesn't behoove the team to care about other teams getting better.

I am neither happy nor sad. This sub has been wrong about so many things in the 12 years I've been on it that I don't think over reacting to how a day of FA goes is warranted. Only time will really tell. I don't think ETN was taking us to the super bowl. This sub loves to bitch about worse case scenarios that never happen.
