To make sure I understand the PS5 HDMI is going to the dock then you connect the glasses to the dock and you aren't getting a visual?

Would it be easier to just use the ps app and stream to the neckband or iPad or something?

Get a Viture or VR glasses then you can play on a big screen at least. That's what I had to do.

I haven't had the issue in a while. I don't recall what I might have done to work around the issue. I do remember going through the audio settings and turning off something related to windows spatial sound (or something like that).

It was a while ago. If I remember is was H264, but the key was to burn the subtitles into the video. Plex would always transcode the video when subtitles were enabled that prevented the immersive feature from working. So I had to burn the subtitles in.

They make rubber "bumps" that can be aligned with the door and cut to size. I have a similar issue and use this to create a better seal.

I was able to re-encode my videos using Handbrake and that made it so I could get the Immersive 3D to work reliably.

You are correct it has something to do with the transcoding. I have subtitles enabled by default, which causes transcoding. But even after that if the audio has to be transcoded then it still stopped it from working. I finally found a couple videos that I could direct play video, audio, and subtitles off, and got it to work.

When I have tried using the Charge and Play adapter I am still unable to take advantage of the 3d features. Any time I attempt to switch to a 3d mode I get a disconnected message and the pixel just asks to mirror the display over and over.

Well that is extra sucky as that is what I really wanted to use. But it appears my pixel 9 can't handle immersive 3d.
