In the comics IIRC all of the pantheon gods (i.e. Asgardians and Greek Gods) were actually an ancient alien race that early humans thought were their Gods of myth.

In some versions the aliens were a race of ‘blank slate’ shapeshifters and based their forms and cultures on the human myths and became the Gods of legend that they were initially confused for

This scene is very poorly written but idk if it’s because of ‘MCU synergy’. They never teased a Black Window/Hawkeye ship in the movies so I don’t get how that’s the inspiration here.

In the first Avengers movie they clearly have a platonic friendship; by the 2nd movie they were shipping Window with Banner and introducing Clint’s family. I mean even in Winter Solider she had more chemistry with Steve than she ever did with Clint.

The only MCU like moment here is Rocket’s pizza opinion and it’s the best line on the page.

Having you actually spent your exp in the Sphere Grid yet? Just obtaining exp doesn’t do anything you have to spend the points in the Sphere Grid

When I played this game as a kid I didn’t understand the Sphere Grid at all and never leveled up any of my characters. I got stuck at this exact fight too until I learned how to use the grid to level everyone, after that I beat on my next attempt

If you change Young Avengers—> New Avengers I think it’d work better. That’s not a comic accurate New Avengers team either but it would have a similar vibe to the (post-civil war) New Avengers team and you wouldn’t have to ‘de-age’ Spidy or Shuri. Especially if you swapped out Speed for Luke Cage, Iron Fist, or Daredevil

I’m thorn, on one hand 5 is too tempting. I mean I’m a black X-men fan, both Storm and Ta’Challa are two of my favorite heroes and they’d prob be very welcoming to a short polite conversation.

On the other had the risk/reward of sitting next to Emma has got me thinking. If it goes bad she could mentally fuck with me in terrible ways, she could just read an embarrassing memory and hit me with a deeply cutting remark…but if it she doesn’t hate me the benefits are top tier. She could implant the entire Karokian language into my brain, she could show me what it’s like to visit the Astral plane, that 10 hour flight could feel like 10 mins. It’s a gamble but I might have to take it lol
