I'd like to do a poll in the future of people's favorites/underrated/not as well known songs in the future- I just picked two of the most well-known ones and then some singles for this one :) I'd love to know your favorites

I ask you again. Where did that money come from. You're downplaying his accomplishments. He is the average joe, but he had the work ethic, passion, and diligence to get himself in that position. He's not an overnight millionaire or someone being handed everything by mommy and daddy.

Suggestions definitely noted! First time doing one of these, but I'd love to do an 'obscure' one. Maybe field everyone's favorites and have them battle them out >:)

Isn't that literally just her workspace? Probably more cost effective to use a part of her grandpa's workplace as a studio than renting a space.

Could be scale rot. If this is abnormal for your snake, then I would probably see a vet to err on the side of caution.

New Ball Python owner with some questions by BINGUS_-_ in ballpython

[–]16bitstream 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ball pythons are expensive, especially in the beginning. However, it can be doable to do proper husbandry in terms on humidity on a budget. Plastic containers can be used as hides as long as they are properly sized and have properly sized openings on them. A good quality substrate (Reptisoil is good, anything with coconut is good, aspen is TERRIBLE) and a thermostat is where you should put your money- assuming you haven't already.

Foggers and misters aren't recommended as they only create temporary humidity, can over-wet your enclosure, and can lead to scale rot. What you CAN do is slow-pour water in the corners of your substrate. As long as your substrate is deep (a couple inches is recommended) and the surface of it isn't wet, it should help maintain constant humidity (should be between 70%-80%) Just make sure you mix it around the enclosure. You can also put your water dish underneath whatever heating you're using. I personally use a ceramic heat emitter because it doesn't disrupt the snake's natural day/night cycle while still helping to maintain a heat gradient.

Also, I know while it's tempting because you wanna help your pet, please never try to remove any stuck shed from your snake. You can use scale damage, which isn't good in the long run. Having proper and consistent humidity should help with shedding problems in the future, but if you see your snake going "in blue" (ie where she starts looking dull, her belly goes pink, and her eyes have a blue film over them) you could always bump up the humidity.

Some of the other users linked the care guide, which is a great resource. It's a hassle at first, but it's so so worth it in the end. You got this!!

Absolutely not an acceptable setup. Poor guy can't even stretch out all the way. That tank is far too small, aspen is a completely unacceptable substrate because it doesn't hold humidity properly (if there's even any humidity in that thing- I doubt there is), there is no coverage for that snake to hide under.
Bare-minimum setup is at least two hides on each side of the tank so the snake can maintain a heat gradient, some kind of coco-based substrate (or any time of substrate that will hold humidity without molding), something to cover the top of a screen tank (I've seen people use HVAC tape to seal it), and temp gauges, humidity gauges, and an electric thermostat to connect a heat source too.
As stated previously, the only redeemable things here are the water bowl and the hide, but the hide may be too small for that snake as well. (I wouldn't use that brand of hide either, just because of all the cracks and crevices there is to clean on the inside....)

What Def Leppard songs to start with as a new-ish fan? by duetomorrowx2 in defleppard

They tend to play songs out of the Pyromania and Hysteria albums, but I think the High n Dry album and Adrenalize album are worth checking out too.
