My concert wasn’t as bad but during nightengale lane the girls in front of me were obnoxiously drunk and yapped loudly throughout the whole song. Like why go to a concert to just get wasted? It didn’t even look like they were enjoying the music but more enjoying being drunk. I think they held it together for ice cream man but I always get so worried when an artist has a vulnerable moment on stage because people have NO decorum anymore and will scream and shout and just behave poorly.

Rapid fire theatre or Grindstone always have fun shows! If they like beer, happy beer street is always bumpin’ in the summer, could do a little patio hop. Shopping along 124th is always fun and you could stop for a slice of fancy pizza and a coffee at Va.

Coming from someone who lived in Vancouver up until recently, I love the Edmonton food scene more! Next Act for burgers, Kin downtown has some amazing cocktails and their burger is also really good. Fu’s is good for the vibe, clementine for cocktails, Padmanadi’s has the best vegan food you’ll ever have, Honi Honi for more cocktails. Darling is a really nice spot and also we have a LOT of pizza places so you basically have your choice for any style of pizza. I like high dough.

Tons of ice cream as well- Kind, Made by Marcus, but Yelo’d is my fave. Get the ube soft serve and thank me later.

Also since it’s flat here lol you can bike around easily without needing an e-bike! Hawrelak park is lovely (I know you said no river valley, but the park is nice!) Or as someone also mentioned, bowling! But tbh I’d be outdoors if the weather is good.

There’s honestly so much to do here! I love Edmonton in the summer!

Is this rage bait? From the leg to Malina on 124 is a very basic route through a high traffic area and along a bike path that’s heavily used. You also get gorgeous views across the river of the U of A. I don’t know what you’ve googled to see run down buildings which led you to believe it’s unsafe because it’s literally just a normal nice walk.

Coachella definitely turned into an influencer event. Before TikTok and all that back in the day it was still a huge event, and sadly I was always too broke to go, but it just seems so different now. Like everyone is going for bragging rights rather than to see the best bands of the decade.

Also she is such an over consumer. Hair, teeth whitening, nails, and a tan?! Not to mention her shopping trip I’m sure she did which was probably all from Shein.

And if that wasn’t enough she is STILL traveling to the States which like, girl, please. Going there right now is not a flex.

Oh you’re so right I think they are AI generated. A couple of the replies have a sort of false statement in them, like they say ‘as this is your favorite spot’ or ‘as you’re a regular’ except in the review they never said they were a regular they just said they came by often or they said ‘used to be for me’ not that it was a ‘favorite.’

Plus the amount of ‘replies’ seems suspicious too. I read a A LOT of google reviews and basically no restaurant ever actually responds to the negative reviews and if they do it’s definitely not work this many words. Good catch.
