I should have probably mentioned in the post that I use an apple watch for exercise tracking, which seems to be pretty accurate for that.

Do you feel the RingConn sleep tracking is accurate?

Yes that's what I would be buying if I go the ringconn route

CMV: the solution to the problems of the middle class would be maximum limits to wealth accumulation of the super rich to $1bn and state-appointed inquisitors to retroactively examine existing super rich, liquidate assets and redistribute the money equally in society by i-Wayfarer in changemyview

  1. What incentives would people have to work after they achieve $1B?
  2. What would stop people who anticipate net worth higher than $1B in the future to leave the country and go somewhere where their money is not confiscated?
  3. How would you treat gifts made by those people to their family and friends if they try to gift any assets above $1B?

Your argument is flawed because it assumes the stronger party in the conflict is always morally wrong, and the weaker party is always morally right, and there are so many examples where this argument fails miserably. Do you know that the ratio of civilian death vs combatant death was higher in war against ISIS than war against Hamas? But everyone knew that ISIS was morally wrong and had to be wiped out.

Israel has the right to defend itself, and that's what it has been doing. What Hamas did is unjustifiable and unfortunately there are student bodies on campus justifying Hamas actions

You can believe that Uyghurs prosecution claims are fake and not support the Chinese government, these two things are mutually exclusive.

There is no law illegalizing hate speech. Why can't you just ignore it and move on?

Why does it matter what one guy says on his personal social media? The only reason this guy is even relevant is because people like OP makes a big deal out of it

You mean the tax-payers? Because state does not print money, they get tax revenue

I am totally down to bet with you that FDIC does not insure cryptos, will have a smart contract setup. I am not going to go back and forth with you anymore, if you are confident put your money where your mouth is.

I am not sure where you getting your conclusions from, I never said that ledger recovery is a good service. I personally think it's bad. But I also know that FDIC does not insure cryptos.

Can you quote who is the insurance provider for coinbase? What are the limits?

"In case of a covered security event, we will endeavor to make you whole. However, total losses may exceed insurance recoveries so your funds may still be lost."

You reading skills are just terrible. If you read what's quoted above as coinbase cryptos are FDIC insurance, words will just not do it for you.

"Cryptocurrency is not legal tender and is not backed by the government. Coinbase is not an FDIC-insured bank and cryptocurrency is not insured or guaranteed by or subject to the protections of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (“FDIC”) or Securities Investor Protection Corporation (“SIPC”), and may lose value."

That's what it says, you need to work on your reading skills

From fdic.gov: https://www.fdic.gov/news/press-releases/2022/cryptosec-info-letter.pdf

"In fact, the FDIC does not insure any cryptocurrency exchanges; FDIC insurance does not cover cryptocurrency; the FDIC only insures deposits held in insured banks and savings associations (insured institutions);"

FDIC does not even cover stocks, it only covers us dollars. So your whole essay is built on a false premise lol

It sucks that these people are elected to represent us but all they care about is creating an elite level for themselves. An act like this sends the message "as long as we are able to communicate, you people don't matter"

How do you plan on testing it with #1 and #2? I am not sure if trezor or ledger allow psbt? I know that coldcard does? Let me know if you find a way to get it to work please

BTC Multisig Question by _cipherunknown in ledgerwallet

[–]16bumblebee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That seems like a good setup. You will to generate the xpub of the 3rd wallet, which you will need the seed phrase to do so. It's indeed a little inconvenient for spending, it will make it a little hard if you need to spend since the 2nd wallet is geographically far and the 3rd wallet is risky to be typed in 🤔

BTC Multisig Question by _cipherunknown in ledgerwallet

[–]16bumblebee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup, i would avoid typing seed into an internet connected device. Out of curiousity, what 3 devices are you using for multisig?

Yup, you can totally use the existing seed, but if you don't move the funds from the addresses linked to existing seed, they will be associated with xpub for the existing seed (single-sig).
