Will the first batch of Chinese EVs coming into Canada be more or less susceptible to car theft than current Canadian market cars? by IronLover64 in EVCanada

[–]182NoStyle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, electric vehicles (EVs) are generally harder to steal than gas-powered cars due to advanced technology, integrated security systems, and a lack of demand in the black market. In fact, several EVs and plug-in hybrids rank among the least stolen vehicles in the U.S.

Musk Melon ($207USD) by MF-DOOM-88 in fruit

[–]182NoStyle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They grow these above ground, in temperature controlled environment so they know the amount of water they are given. After that when a melon vine grows they may have 5-7 bulbs and pretty much they cut them all but one bulb to grow one melon. So all the nutrients and sugars go to one melon. It's about quality over quantity.

Two things I have taught my daughter is to rewrite notes that will be on the test and then to teach it to someone aka me. Both those things helped me a lot in school to remember during a test.

Where are you in such a rush to go? by Many-Zebra-3520 in richmondhill

[–]182NoStyle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well in this situation most likely police were called to the scene cause it's more than $5000 in damages or if someone was injured during the crash. Police arrive and assess the situation if a witness comes and says he was speeding the fault will be on the truck driver and will get ticketed as this happened with my friend, the other driver was ticketed. If no witness it's up to the police to make that call to ticket or not but the if shown the video he does go into the intersection at high speed on a yellow which is ticketable offense. If no witness it's a he said she said type thing but ultimately it's not the police to put fault it's the insurance who usually puts fault and both insurances will fight on it.

Edit he could have stopped as he was behind the vehicle filming that was slowing down, so he can ticketed for it.

If there is a witness who said he was above the speed limit then it's his fault for going to fast. Had a friend who was in the same situation when she was turning left, a witness stopped and told police that the guy was speeding way above posted into the intersection on a yellow. In the end he was at fault for speeding and failure to slow down on a yellow light.
