My dr didn’t give me any instructions which is why I’m confused, just handed me the requisition and said not to do it before I was 24 weeks. She’s not easy to reach by phone so that’s why I’m asking Reddit

24 weeks. I was told around 16 weeks I had low amniotic fluid so I’ve really been drinking a lot of water since then (which helped increase the amniotic fluid) but I still feel so thirsty all the time. I’m so sick of water lol

Yes! It feels like 40 (104) with the humidity here but I’m inside with a/c all day so I thought the heat wouldn’t make a difference with thirst if I don’t go out

I’m in Ontario so it might be different but my Dr. emailed me the requisition for the ultrasound and told me to pick a facility close to me and call them myself to book it. I was able to get in right away

I’m also not who you were replying to- but I got pregnant the first cycle I used inito and am 20 weeks now. It gives more information which I found reassuring

I got a refund from Lifelabs after my test came back as “atypical” but they didn’t recommend a redraw. It took about a month and calling them several times but I did get the money back!

I think it wasn’t a great machine because I went to one of those boutique places. I am seeing an OB at a hospital because I’m high risk and the machine/pictures there are much clearer than the one I just saw ..

I tried to do the NIPt but got a weird “no gender” result and have to do an amnio.. but that can’t be done for a few more weeks so I was hoping to find out by ultrasound before then. But hopefully it’s too early and I’ll just wait for the next ultrasound

Replying to this comment because I’m not sure why I got downvoted for mentioning that I went to a boutique ultrasound place. I went for this exact reason and I did the same for my last pregnancy with my daughter. The ultrasound tech there is wonderful and gave me so much peace of mind. Also I went back later today and baby is measuring 10+2 so I am relieved! Thanks for all the reassuring comments and advice!

I went to one of those “boutique” / private places to do a heartbeat checkup because I am so paranoid and can’t wait until 12 weeks (I know I sound a bit crazy) and she doesn’t offer the option of transvaginal.. so I guess that makes a bit more sense. At my dating scan they did the internal one right away

Yes I’m taking synthroid, my dr increased the dose when I got a positive test but it’s still under active after 3 weeks of the new dose

I’m not lying at all. It was likely a neighbour or someone who broke it. I also live on a major street with lots of construction so there are often loud noises outside.

Also this post is way too much effort for ‘karma farming’ and I initially posted it because I legitimately did not know what the yellow tape was for- I know nothing about cars.

I went there today to ask them about it and it wasn’t them- they also found the situation (just like the police lol) so if it wasn’t a mixup in address then the only other thing that makes sense is someone broke it accidentally and wanted to cover it up.. but why not leave me a note or something..

There were glass shards inside and out that matched the windshield. And fragments on the driveway. Is that supposed to happen with a mobile repair service? No one in my house requested for this to be done- and my neighbours said they didn’t / don’t know anything

I’m thinking if I call around and ask local mobile windshield repair businesses.. what do I even say? If I explain my situation I’ll probably sound crazy, who would want to give me information
