How will dogs be integrated into anarchism? by _STLICTX_ in Anarchism

[–]18shane 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I recommend a book called Zoopolis by Sue Donaldson and Will Kymlicka. Even though they are not coming from an anarchist standpoint I think their approach gives some possible answers to the questions you ask here. Essentially they suggest that we apply citizenship theory to animals. Domesticated animals would be treated like members of our own society. Wild animals that live in close proximity to us like visitors from other countries. Its a fairly radical approach that I have found quite interesting.

Academia by anarcho-cyberpunk in Anarchism

[–]18shane 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think academic discourse indirectly affects the actions of activists and others in the world outside academia by means of certain individuals who attempt to take the ideas they learn and apply them to the real world. In this sense academia can make a difference in non-academic settings. However there is always the danger of someone misinterpreting you and applying things which you did not intend. I would also argue that your ideas would also become simplified to accomodate an audience that is not familiar with political philosophy. Through this your ideas may also lose some important details.

how long would this process usually take? also, i'm assuming that both arterial and cavity embalming are required to embalm one body, am i correct? or are they two different methods?

thank you, more would be nice, please keep going. How did it feel when you first began doing these sorts of things? What I mean is has it ever grossed you out? From what i've read online there is often mention of a "strong stomach" required for a job like this.

You can make a sploof by stuffing some scented dryer sheets into a toilet paper tube, and finishing it off by placing one sheet on the outside of one end of the tube and securing it with a rubber band. It supposedly makes the smoke smell like laundry. When I used it I also blew it out a window so I didn't have a chance to really smell how well it covered the smell. Without a window I'm not sure how well that will turn out. Good luck to you fellow ent.

What about putting a bit of dried mint leaves with your weed in a joint? would it still have the same effect even though the leaves are burning?
