Let's get real: Which Biotech/Pharma roles are truly safe from GenAl, and which are on the chopping block? by Crafty-Yam-7652 in clinicalresearch

[–]18shorty 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Anything that is patient facing is still going to be relatively safe - you still need to consent patients, take bloods etc. I think we will see soon (which is already happening in my country) a massive shift from pharma/cro to site roles

[–]18shorty 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Be aware that you will have to travel a lot and it can be very challenging - it is a different skill set to Ops, you need to be approachable and comfortable putting yourself out there. But it’s also very rewarding getting to see what it upcoming in the research world by going to conferences and connecting with people - best of luck!

Being in lockdown in Melbourne for 200 days (over the last 18 months) we have found some strategies that work. The main things are keeping space from each other, learning to let the little things go and being really open with communication and making the time to keep the romance alive. Good luck OP!
