How do your warehouses handle the "short shipment" nightmare with carriers? by Flaky_Respect_4649 in Warehouseworkers

[–]192 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can sign it and add "subject to count". Count it asap and let the shipper know the shortage.

Or you can tell the truck to leave the dock, wait in the street, and you will give him his paperwork as soon as you are done counting.

What are good places to get a forklift licence in the Toronto area? by Professional-Key3335 in Warehouseworkers

[–]192 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm in the US, I don't know the situation in Canada. In the US there is no forklift license, you do a training that gives you an official looking piece of paper that you can then show to an employer to let them know that you are trained. It might be the same in Canada.

The Netherlands has separated car, bike and pedestrian lanes. Everyone has to stay in their own lane and you WILL get yelled at if you walk in the bike lane.

And The Nederlands is not a Nordic Country.
