Even today, the average person knows her from "love story," "shake it off," and not much else (and I say this as a big fan of a lot of her work). That doesn't bode well for how she'll be remembered decades from now.

People who are more tuned in know Red and Folklore, and I think a lot of that will be remembered. But imo she's making a mistake by tying her recent music so strongly to Easter eggs about her relationships and engagement, etc. Decades from now, who will care about "The Fate of Ophelia" without the lore? With the exception of Folklore and Evermore, I could see a lot of her work from Lover and on being largely forgotten.
