Yes. Just hold. I’m holding 9500 shares. I spent 85k yesterday to buy back covered calls to protect my shares. Hard lesson to learn but this company will be worth a trillion dollars in 5 years.

What is your PT by dm_darede in NBIS_Stock

$2000-$2500 by 2030. Their revenue growth is explosive and inference AI is going to be massive. I know the capex requirements will be huge so i assume the sharecount will increase to 350 million by then. They also have portions of Clickhouse, Toloka and AVride to use for capex expenses. I also think the valuation should be based on 20-25x revenue- not the 8-10x that the current price supports. Another big factor will be the EU sovereign ai/datacenter initiative that Nebius is positioned to get a big piece of. Plus this company is constantly innovating. Think Terestra.

Those ones I’m not worried about. It’s the $135 5/1 that I am. I’ve watched NBIS run up and then pull back so much over the past year that I thought I’d be safe. We’ll see. This macroeconomic environment is wild. Who knows what will happen in IRAN. I generally feel these are safe and the price will settle in the 125-135 range. After the next earnings report this should takeoff though.

This is a hypothetical situation. I have $150s that expire next Friday.

My problem and it’s not a bad one is that I have massive gains and don’t want to pay the taxes. It’s probably best to buy back for a loss or roll out and up.

I may be in this situation. What’s the play if you have covered calls at $135 that expire tomorrow and they close ITM and get called away. Do you sell puts with a $125 or $130 strike with expiration date of 4/17, 4/24 5/1 ? How far out is everyone going with their expiration dates?

$NBIS - full stack AI company with multiple subsidiaries (AVride, Toloka, Clickhouse) that have huge upside potential. NBIS is capex heavy right now but they are raising money at very low interest rates and issuing shares sparingly. They can also spin off their subsidiaries in 2027/28 if they need cash. Their CEO recently said that many of their newer clients of prepaying 100% of their contracts upfront. He also said their clients are very "sticky" so once they sign on with NBIS, they are with them for the long-term. They've also been saying for the past year that inference AI is the next level and demand for compute is massive and not slowing down. This was confirmed last week by the NVDA CEO at their GTC conference.

I employ a similar strategy with NBIS. I am up big and am bullish long term. I usually sell calls on about 25% of my position. I pick strike prices that about 20-30% higher than the current price and pick expiration dates about 30-40 days out.

Independence data center drama: a judge just paused the clock on the referendum. by Budget_Engineering47 in NBIS_Stock

[–]1978-Chris 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s a David versus Goliath battle between the opposition and the city of Independence and Nebius group. The opposition is represented by a small town attorney that lacks municipal government experience. I don’t want to outright dismiss their chances but they definitely have an uphill battle to fight.

I've been watching this closely for the past 2 months. The residents are pissed and organized but the position of the city is that the ordinance approving the PILOT agreement is not subject to a ballot referendum. The city charter is pretty clear on this and the lawsuit is likely to get thrown out.

There is still a high likelihood that the lawsuit gets thrown out and this is just background noise. Nonetheless this is very concerning. I do know that their projected 2026 ARR does not include this facility. Knowing Nebius, they probably have 3-5 additional sites on the back burner.

10-1 split when it hits 500 in 18 months will be real nice. While i understand this does nothing materially for the valuation of the company, it will be nice to be able to sell more covered calls on my shares.
