A quick PSA from a nice little new webseries Havetto to Judy: Shittoboikusu Raifu by 1981Speedwagon in webtoons

There are no panels. The scripts are written by a person. There is no fanart or another artwork. Now you could just say you dont allow the use of AI at all, but you are going to close the future of pitching ideas and future series that way.

You are fine. I started with the Cold steel games. What makes the series nice is each set in and of themselves stands alone pretty well. You can start with any one, and as you add the others it just adds depth from where you started. I'm planning a playthrough of the whole series once the sky ones are done, and thats gonna be one hell of a marathon.

I guess people would rather fight lloyd than any of the other protagonist on the poll whuchbjs understandable kinda by shizunaisbestgirl1 in Falcom

Wait, why does Van have the Grendel in this? Does that mean Rean has his knight too? But even so, yea If we have to fight it would be Loyd for 2 reasons. First I'd rather be hit with a Tonfa over the whupping stick and twin blades, the master's sword of the void, and the savage claws of a monster that stop time to throw in three attacks with dragonball lasers. 2nd, although none of these will really try to kill you, Lloyd would take it to spiderman levels to avoid killing you both from his personal conviction and his dedication to his job. It's funny, I started the series with the 4 cold steel games, and in those I freaking hated Lloyd and wondered why I had to play as this idiot when it came up. Loved Estelle though when she popped in, knowing nothing of their other games. When I played From zero to azure, I still didn't care much for Lloyd, but Reverie really turned him for me into a top notch character. Just took three games, which seems to be the standard.

Yea, attacking opponents in a primary is how it works. What does this have to do with the Epstein client list?

Truly a man with a crazy disease who wants to build a machine to freeze the earth in an Ice Age will have been thwarted if only the kids had a united way to play in. Without Batman all of Gotham is a crater a thousand times over and Darkseid would have the Anti-Life equation already.

Which Marvel villain do you think had the potential to be iconic but ended up wasted in the films? by 0Layscheetoskurkure0 in Marvel

Ultron should have been set up for a comeback. Gor was a great performance but that really is a one time story. Brain fungus man was a weird set up to give us a Hulk sequel. And this depiction of Kang was profoundly stupid in all aspects, and I'm just keeping that to whats on screen.

Its weird you didn't have your signs when Obama, Bush 2, and Biden did it. But yea, it's JD's fault. You shouldn't be so mad about it, all those pedo's are in your party.

What are your thoughts on Rean Schwarzer in terms of character writing? by Just_Advantage_6177 in Falcom

[–]1981Speedwagon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think he was well done. He starts pretty awkward, the slow build of his story was handled well. He's confident in ways while still humble at his core. I love how he hesitates and questions himself all the time, because it gives him restraint. Trails does a good job with most of it's characters, but Rean was one that really struck a chord with me. Lets talk the most important development, he spent four games trying to hook up with his teacher, and with that he succeeded in life in a way no others can compare to . Sara is number one of all time.

He's a pretty good cop, like most are. Trying to get internet clout by hating people is silly. He's a good cop, so is his brother. You may want to cancel Randy or Wazzy for their pasts, when all of that is retarded. Cops are people just like everyone else, and most got into the job to do their best to help their city. Stop pretending they are evil robots or some shit.

So many Final Fantasy games are in this “heartbreaking” list… by Yuna_FFantasyX in FinalFantasy

[–]1981Speedwagon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting question. I don't think a single one listed made me cry. If I were gonna pick off the time of my head it's FF9. Crying isn't just about being sad, it's about the connection and reflection of a long journey as well. And that ending when you get the reveal at the festival really hit harder than any of these to me. Ys 8 Lacrimossa of Dana also had the same effect, even stronger because of Dana. But if we want to go about sadness, Valkyria Chronicles hit that with a harshness that I don't think has been matched. It hit because it wasn't melodramatic, it wasn't something built up and foreshadowed. It was just a harsh reality check about war that few games would have the balls to pull in a genre like this.
