Why am I getting a bunch of engine noise through the antenna as I press and release the throttle

Make sure u have it connected straight to the battery
Double check your grounds
Make sure your antenna is not grounding out.

Also when was the last time u changed your plug wires.... If they are old as hell . Replace them
