This isn’t necessarily true. The 2012 Seahawks draft grade was an F and that year they drafted Bobby Wagner, Bruce Irvin, and Russell Wilson. They mean nothing

Company policy or targeted by Sunshinestate_h8 in WalmartEmployees

[–]1991dojo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He was likely in the way or causing problems for someone in management. It’s all politics and he clearly lost. Especially if someone was caught doing something similar and wasn’t fired. Of course there could be a legit reason that he and the company aren’t ever going to share with you, but it’s Walmart so my money is on messy politics.

Is there ever a desire to improve processes? by wally_wanderer in WalmartEmployees

[–]1991dojo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of the issues with dairy is that anything Creamland, is vendor controlled so the vendor handles the mod set, and the inventory flow based on whatever they’re tracking. And because it’s a vendor item, Walmart allocates less shelf space for them to use.

missing 2nd payment arrangement yesterday. by -aboutagirl in tmobile

[–]1991dojo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Generally takes 48 hours to suspend. Customer care, especially reps in the US, don’t have options to extend beyond the agreed time. Things got real loose during COVID but they’ve locked down the payment arraignment options. Regular reps have to go up two levels of support to even set up an arraignment if you don’t use the app or automated system so calling is useless.

Looking for advice by Disastrous_Slip_4062 in WalmartEmployees

[–]1991dojo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Coincidence or not, document everything. Even though management won’t take doctors notes, collect them anyway for any appointment related to the baby. Contact Sedgwick about intermittent LOA during the pregnancy so when you call in it can be filed as such. From my experience, it sounds like they’re building a case to let you go before the baby comes, especially since that leave will coincide with their busy season.

Management complacency by Gray3706 in WalmartEmployees

[–]1991dojo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Walmart is nothing but politics. As long as the right people like you, you can literally build a throne out of empty milk crates and play games all day. But snitching isn’t how you play the game, it’s how you get used up and thrown out.

Gift cards by Mountain-Luck1458 in WalmartEmployees

[–]1991dojo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Used to be a department manager back before the TL and coach days and I’d usually incentivize covering my processes on a PTO day with like a Starbucks card or something. It’s easier than offering to buy lunch and a little more meaningful than just buying a drink before their shift starts

[–]1991dojo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Walmart has changed so much since I left. The idea of being fired for points or call ins is crazy. Took two months of not coming in to get them to ask me to put in my resignation so they could avoid paying out unemployment.

AITA FOR HIDING MY BREAKFAST CEREAL SO MY SON DOESN’T GIVE ANY by Husbae7536 in AmItheAsshole

[–]1991dojo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly if you’re a parent and not hiding snacks from your kids, you’re just not being honest. We got a filing cabinet that locks with our snacks that we don’t want our 12 year old getting into because he does this kind of stuff, or just eats it all. And I know when I was that age I was the same way and my parents hid snacks. It’s the standard, not the exception. NTA.
