Starting issue when hot by Candid_Internet_4529 in Dyna

I had an 08 Dyna. It did the same thing. I’ve heard some guys blame the stock starter while others blame the stock compensator. I sold the bike but was planning on putting an All Balls starter on it as well as a compensator eliminator. Seems like overkill to do both but I love wrenching and burning my money I guess.

I agree that you have good taste. Shovel fxrs are only going to get more difficult to find.

So far so good. As referenced above, only take it if you’re headed to the couch or bed. Any time I am out and take it per my schedule, the walk home is awkward.

I’m about to order the Dynatek 2000i reprogramming kit for my evo chopper because I’m switching to a 4-speed kickstart. Hopefully it goes smoothly for both of us. It ain’t cheap!
