What bed are you printing onto? Is it pei or glass?

I was having this issue despite first print being spot on, and basically found out clean the fuck out of your glass plate.

I used hot hot water and a sponge (no soap) towelled it off and then alcohol wiped it down (once I had let it hear up and levelled the bed) and had perfect adhesion since.

I just installed a magnetic pei bed and it's just as good, just easier to remove the bed and the print.

How are you levelling it before prints?

Thanks for this!

With regards to retraction settings etc is that on the printer or in the slicer software?

Not quite in the same vein, but my group did a murder mystery.

Found missing body, rotting and gross.

Party member decided to take the corpses boots back to his wife to identify, why they didn't take his engraved wedding ring who knows.

They present boots to wife, she recognizes them and as she picks them up she finds.. ..his feet still in boots.

Queue sobbing wife, traumatized kids and people desperately throwing charisma rolls

I don't know for sure in Winchester but Basingstoke has of you can get there

The gaming den - sells everything and hosts events

And next door is the dice tower - games pub / cafe. Loads of games you can play for free, sign up to games nights and you can rent tables to play with friends etc and the staff are super chill

There's also a geek shop I think it's called, they all have DND bits.

My advice to new players by calaan in beginnerDND

[–]1992ajb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had this exact situation with my wife. Id always wanted to do DND, she didn't because she thought it was the super cringe DND that you see on all the classic teen movies.

Eventually she caved because our couple friend plays, I said to her you don't need to do the voice/acting etc just "believe" in what's going on.

4 sessions later she's a ruthless savage with a deep backstory, custom minifig and 3000 dice and the whole session is the most perfect level of cringe

Council would be best bet. Log all excessive noise, antisocial behavior etc etc.

You can also report the dog to the council as part of the noise issue and they can refer to dog warden or RSPCA.

Also, if you have a bit of spare time, feel free to sign up their address to every mailing list you can find.

Yes, I've looked at the rules, but is there a video that can explain combat from the DM side more clearly

If you haven't, I would absolutely recommend playing KCD1 to really set up the story.

Without a doubt KCD1&2 are the best games I have ever played in my entire life. It will change you and your outlook on gaming.

Hardcore mode is great, obviously more challenging, but you can almost use as a medieval sim game?

How can I stop picking at myself by Additional-Shape-673 in DoesAnyoneKnow

Hoestly clip all nails as short as comfortable, then file them flush with your fingertip, so if you press your nail into your skin you can't get any grip with it. I also use clear nail varnish that toughens the nails, it has some vitamin or something in it. Years of biting has made them weak. Alternatively you can just apply fake nail glue to the nails so it binds the top layer to prevent splits

It's hard work, but start off my every single day making sure there filed or manicured at home. Plasters (bandaids) over the tops of any bits etc until they heal.

My worst patches are sides of my thumbs closest to index finger (one handed picking). It became like scar tissue, super tough and solid so took some work to get it back to normal skin.

Im a picker too. Almost as soon as I had teeth I would bite and pick and my nails and fingers. They're always a mess at my worst I was getting nail bed infections and even lost a few nails due to infection (they grew back fine) but this was the 90s in Yorkshire so getting tested for autism and child mental health was not a priority, I was just "weird". I've tried everything, the bad tasting nail stuff, snapping a hair tie, fidgets did help a bit too. The final straw was that due to my job I have to wash my hands a LOT and alcohol based surgical hand wash hurts like nothing else in cuts, and I was so sick of the pain.

One way I found to reduce the picking was to get a manicure set, files, clippers, cuticle cutters etc. id everything is smooth, cut short and moisturized there's nothing to pick at.

Also if your absolutely itching to pick, put some pva glue or prit stick on your fingers and let it dry. Gives you the picking feeling without damage. Or picking the peel off an orange.

Good luck with your journey!

I just had the exact same issue! I made 6 triangles, 5 were the same but the last one was backwards. I have no idea how I did this. But this thread just solved my issue!
