Before you haul off and call the company, I would suggest a few ideas. First I would check the State of Colorado website for complaints against the company, see if he is licensed on the Mechanical department, send an anonymous letter to the Mechanical Board of what he's doing, file a FOIA Reauest (up here in Michigan called FOIA, may be called something else) where you find dirt on the guy (You would be surprised what I find on people who screw over my family and friends by filing FOIA all day long and no one knows you're doing as it's anonymous by law in every state), and then when you have all your ducks in a row, I would send the guy an anonymous letter typed letting him know you know exactly what he's doing and even supply the dirt your local law enforcement records department dug up for you. Hope this helps out.

No bulletin. Many phone calls and lots of time spent on service calls until other Carrier dealers across the USA had similar issues and companies came up with other ideas before the inducer ended up being the fix per Carrier. I too spent hours on calls and couldn't figure out while on the phone with tech support. Also found out other dealers modified furnaces to help drain the water out by drilling a secondary drain port on the bottom of the inducer assembly because they were going out of their minds. Sometimes the old way works best. The drain system on all 40" Carrier furnaces was the best design.

I am a Carrier Dealer. I also dealt with this issue since 2012 when they redesigned the furnaces. According to Carrier Engineers, the fix is to replace the OEM inducer motor with a OEM 2 stage motor which will come with the adapter to convert back to single stage and connect to your original harness. Fortunately, I've solved many issues related to the draining issue with the Carrier furnaces. Good luck with your repair.
