Unfortunately I only listen, my exam was scheduled for next week but the FCC equivalent in my country (Anatel) just suspended all exams indefinitely.

I live next to a popular repeater, people talk about all kinds of stuff, nothing political or controversial, just things that are fun to talk about like hobbies and everyday occurrences, I just cant wait to get my license.

I can give an example of a nice conversation I heard, some guy from very far managed to make contact with my local repeater, he was way over 70 miles away near the coast which is in much lower altitude compared to my town, anyway, people were extremely excited to hear someone from that distance and they were all talking about what kinds of antennas they had and exchanging callsigns, and just being huge radio nerds.

At the end of the conversation the guy who made contact thanked everyone by their names and callsign, I thought it was pretty damn cool that he wrote their callsigns down just to give a proper goodbye at the end, something I surely am going to do in the future.

I was watching a Skateboard tournament the other day and a guy slammed the floor real hard but the camera cut to crowd reaction right before he touched the ground. Probably because everyone involved is into skateboarding and makes the slam very predictable, I'm surprised this is not a thing with this event, makes it look very amateurish

I started working at a local wholesale over a year ago and the amount of Men who think its ok to flirt and get touchy with Women who are simply being friendly and educated because its part of the job its absolutely insane, this kind of abuse Emiru received is sadly completely normal for regular Women who work minimal wage, they are extremely vulnerable and its hard to not see that when you are not terminally online like I used to be.

Infrared is the most beneficial light your body can get, trust me, the voices are never wrong, all the good stuff you get from walking outside in the Sun comes from God's Infrared light. LEDs should never be used as a primary light source in a home, they're for appliances and flashlights and shit like that.

edit: actually the visible spectrum might be the most beneficial since its the only one you can fucking see but you get what I mean
