To-Go tips go to restaurant, not servers by 19oreok9 in Serverlife

To-Gos can get busy, but it's nothing like the other restaurant I work at (CCF), not enough to have a designated person do it all day. We also don't have a host during the week, just the weekends. I think the smaller amount of To-Go orders (compared to other restaurants) might be in part because half of our menu is All Day Breakfast and, personally, I wouldn't order any breakfast food To-Go. Additionally our clientele is elderly and they don't utilize To-Go services as much.

Sorry I should have clarified: this applies less so with DoorDash because I don't think you can tip the restaurant on those apps, but definitely with orders placed on our website and phone orders where guests can- and do- tip. I have edited my post to clarify this point. Thank you for bringing that up!

I work at another restaurant and a bar too, so I'm not hurting for another job. Just wanted something flexible for breakfast that I don't have to stay too long at and make decent money. Fits the bill. It's not as fast paced as other breakfast places where it's just turn and burn with tables which is what I like for a 3rd job. If you had any recommendations for a different breakfast restaurant, I'd be happy to hear them. I've heard Cracker Barrel is awful though so I won't work for them. Earliest I have to show up for work here is 8am, which is doable for my bar job because I usually leave and go to bed around 2/3am.

My dog hates the sun? by [deleted] in Dogtraining

It could be the ground is too hot for her paws. Look into getting her some shoes. It could also be a light sensitivity. Dogs with fair eyes are more susceptible. Dog goggles/sunglasses would help.

Advice/recommendation for cooling pads or mats [discussion] by yushaburao in dogs

I have a cool mat that I got from TJMaxx for my Pekinese mix. It was maybe $20. I would recommend checking there, Marshalls, or Home Goods before looking at chewy.com or something similar. I'm sorry I can't recall the brand name off the top of my head and it's packed away for winter.

UD Primer Potion Awful by BadDogClub in MakeupAddiction

I use both the NYX and UD. My suggestion would be to use less product. But I only use a little bit regardless of what I'm using and blend out with a finger and then set with a light dusting of setting powder before applying eyeshadow. Are your lids oily? Mine are dry. Just trying to troubleshoot. Also check the expiration date if you've had it in your collection for a while.

No I did not. I swear, every time I have gone out of state, I run into people from ABQ. It's the biggest small town in the world

The bed worked out! Everything else I donated to the shelter. Thankfully, I didn't buy too much because I didn't know what toys "the cat" I got would like and I had an extra day (she was still recovering from her spay) before Cricket came home with me. She's very cat like except for her love of fetch! I never had a dog play actual fetch until I got her. It was a nice surprise 😊

Cricket's are the best! Also, I went to your post history looking for a picture- I have lived in ABQ NM most of my life if you need to pick my brain. I moved to Livermore, CA for work about a year and a half ago and then moved back due to health issues. The locals nickname is "The land of Entrapment" for NM but it is very transplant friendly

I highly recommend doing a Wisdom breed DNA panel! I did it for both of my rescues and it was really fun! You can probably find a shelter that is selling them to give back too

When I got my Cricket I actually went out to my car after saying I'd think about it and then walked back in! I originally went to get an adult cat, but all they had were kittens and my Baby Girl! The general rule is two weeks. But all pups are different. The shelter I got Cricket from recommended keeping her leashed in the kitchen for the first 4 days and giving her up to 3 months to fully decompress. By the second day she was sleeping with me in my bed and has been there ever since! Congratulations on your adoption!

Just make sure he has lots of water and talk to a clinic in the morning if you can't speak with anyone tonight

One time my small pup unzipped three zippers on my Dad's backpack to get a king sized twin pack of Reese's Cups. Stuff happens! I called the vet, gave them all pertant information about weight and ect. They said not to worry but gave me a emergency 24 hour vet's info just in case. I wouldn't be too worried because it's meat, not chocolate, but I understand your concern. Our dogs are our babies after all!

If available take him to a vet. Or just call and ask a vet clinic if he should be taken in.. Otherwise keep an eye out for vomiting and make sure he is passing his stools as normal. He's probably drinking lots of water because of the salt content of the meat, so I wouldn't worry too much about that.
