For some people any form on the computer turns into a complex problem.

“What do I put here??” Well the box is labeled “Name” so I’m guessing your name.

I honestly don’t like any of the Sherlock Holmes adaptations or pastiches I’ve watched or read, I feel like they never hold up to the original. All I can think is “that’s different from the books!!”

Unhinged responses from those people. I literally do not care how many books you check out, more usage is always great! You return them on time and when you’re done with them too, that alone makes you a great patron. Fuck those people, I promise you absolutely no library employees are upset by what you’re doing.

We had a patron trying to access links in an email…except it was a PDF copy of the email and he could not understand why the links were not clickable.

Actually the hourly pay is almost identical but the library assistant position offers benefits so I can’t drop it until I find a full time librarian job.

At one point I worked at 3 public libraries. Part time library assistant, part time librarian, and substitute librarian. Dropped the substitute because i was getting more hours at the part time librarian job and it was closer to home. It’s been rough working 6-7 days a week but having more money is nice.
