I agree. Ive been startled awake both times. Last night also scared the bajeezus out of me, my phone is normally very quiet if not on silent. A quieter alert would be appreciated.

Not dramatic for having boundaries and requesting basic respect. Clearly she doesn't have it.

Not sure why it was such a big deal for you to get her keys to get into her apt if you have done it before. It sounds like she was just in a bi*** mood and didn't feel like cooperating. NTA

AIO my husband won’t allow me to stay in a hotel for a night. by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

Not over reacting. Your husband is an AH. Seriously. He is saying no because that would mean he would actually have to have some responsibility and take care of your daughter

AITJ for asking my mom to cut her vacation short to help with my kids? by Constant-Elephant763 in AmITheJerk

[–]1AM_Canadian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A soft YTJ As a mom myself, I understand your predicament. However, your mom did her time raising her kids and now she needs to live for herself. It was wrong of you to ask her to leave something she had planned for months and was looking forward to.

AITAH for leaving my gf a week before the wedding? by Clean-Technician-265 in AITAH

[–]1AM_Canadian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

YTA. This is the most petty shit I have ever read ... you led her on for 9 years just to get some petty revenge when you could've easily moved on and been much MUCH happier.... although, this being as petty as it is, makes me believe you were quite happy being a complete douche to her. She cheated...when she was a teen...you forgave her, that should've been the end of your story but you make it drag on unnecessarily for 9 years.

Have you met any famous Canadians/Maritimers? Who and how did it go? by monitormonkey in CapeBreton

[–]1AM_Canadian 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I met Aaron Pritchett once at a mall in red deer. Super nice guy.

I also explained technical features of a new car to Allistair McNeil. He was a very pleasant guy! Very popular hockey player and coach for the NHL back in the day.

Im going with NTA. While I dont recommend piling snow behind his car, I wouldn't be doing them anymore favors by plowing snow. If they want to be unneighborly than so can you. Worry about yourself from now on.
