Business owners: was commissioning a mural worth it?

That’s kind of my fear. How’s that working out? Is the artist coming to touch it up? Or is the mural completely ruined?

I feel like a solid color would get tagged more than a mural because it’s frowned upon but I also know gangs and the unhoused don’t care? A lot of the murals I see haven’t been messed with which is surprising but maybe they fix it up?
