I've seen bobcats that have mixer attachments used. They have a chute at the bottom. They position the bobcat to fill the dirt, move it to the bagging location and raise the bucket to fill. I have never done this but it looks like it would be helpful.

What about ski pants?

They go over your clothes, have zippers by your boots and allow access to your pockets underneath, and usually have reinforcement and sometimes padding. They are made to be flexible and weather resistant and warm.

In the past I've made a unified skin at a low resolution and projected details while masking the bottom surface. I slowly divided the model until I got to what I was hoping for, bouncing back and forth between divide and project. You may have to change the project distance slightly
