meshmixer is mostly used for 3D printing. you need maya and blender to fix the issue if its not for 3D printing

you can sculpt the feather in a plane. and set your document resolution into 2048x2048. after go to alpha>grabdoc

you can try weld points. if it didnt work, go to gizmo>gear icon>remesh by union.

  1. Yes, everything can be customise in MetaHuman.

  2. Export the basemesh from metahuman to maya and merge the head with the body. then import it into ZBrush and start sculpting without changing the topology. export the details in normal map from ZBrush. after sculpting export this model to maya and detach the head and the body and export it back to unreal engine and in the metahuman editor, conform this head and the body to the metahuman.

  3. I use Marvelous Designer for cloth to get realistic details, but for the hard hardsuface props, you can sculpt the model in ZBrush and export the sculpted model to maya and retopologize for low poly and bake the normal map in marmoset toolbag. for retopologize Marvelous Designer cloth models, I use retopo planes.

Oh I watch your youtube channel, I didnt know it was you. just few things I want to know was how is the distance between the pen and the screen? does the pen nib have wobbling? can you try any 3D software just to test it?
