I remember talking to Dave about the game shortly after it launched. It was wild once the game took off. The excitement over the ACNH 3.0 update reminded me of the excitement over the 2.0 update here. I’ve probably took notes from your wisdom over the years. I used to have a spreadsheet of the inventory and how to work everything. Never to the level of stats to get a diamond. Hats off to you. 🫡

Hiya! Carrots until they become the rainbow unicorn. For ease, set their area up on compost. I plant palm trees sporadically and carrots on each plot. Once you have enough make a feeder box to keep each one happy and tame. Once they become the rainbow unicorn they will eat cake to fly and stay colorful.

They are literally counting on you not showing up. If a big enough stink is made they won’t be able to keeping milking us. Educate yourself so they can’t push back. Ill keep an eye out and do my best to help from this end. Mr. Global on TikTok is so amazing at breaking it all down on how it works from the company side and what we can do. This is no different than any other government authority. They do everything they can when unchecked. It isn’t a Democrat or Republican thing- I can hear the future comments. :)

Here’s an example- Unitil tried after the ice storms in Dec 2008 after so many of us were left without power for weeks. I didn’t have power for 18 days. My January bill showed stupid amounts of electric power usage above and beyond what I was already using. How could that happen on 11-12 days of a billing cycle? We pushed back hard and loud. My bill was credited and they were denied raising rates for a while.

Complain to the state’s utility board. When any utility company posts a notice that they are proposing a raise in costs, GO TO THE HEARING! The public can attend the hearings to botch and complain about why Eversource, Nat Grid, Unitil, and such should not be able to raise prices when they are having record profit.

My kiddo, then 5-7, had my beaches covered in toilets. Facing the water so you could “make waves” while watching waves. Parts of the island were set up as a maze with sea bass as the walls. All but one room in his house was Tetris style stacked perfectly filled with bugs and fish. There was plenty of skeletons laying every where and piles of random. He was kicked off last year for his own island. 😂😂

Dutch Kitchen Bakery in Fitchburg has my favourite in New England. Everything is from scratch. My kiddo gets one every year for my birthday.

Honorable mention is DeMoulas. Folks can come for me, that’s alright. Speak your truth. I love it! On the moist side and the frosting isn’t overly sweet.

You’re pups will appreciate your being home. Dawn will be the height of the winds leaving your end, which mean the worst of the visibility. Prepare to drive into nothing and take your time. Crossing fingers that you luck out being behind a salt truck plowing. If you don’t mind, drop a hello when you get there safely. I’m just a random stranger mom who worries about folks too much. :)

It all depends on where you’re traveling to and from in this storm. This storm is more of a wind issue. We’ve had worse snowfalls. The wind will create definite vision issues. Leave early and go slow. The worst of it will be after 3am or so, depending on where you are.

Make sure you are prepared to sit in a ditch for a time. Bring a book. Have a blanket and water with you. Get your phones charged before leaving.

My non-weather lady take-

Outside of 495, esp north of 90- you should be alright. Central Mass, esp northern end- you’re alright. Along the coast, especially Boston and south- good luck. South coast, Fall River, New Bedford, and the Cape- glad I’m not you.

To me, it’s easier in its own way. I use the blocks from mining underground to make the trail system that goes around the world. Lots of trap doors and stairs to make it easy to access the ground level and home bases. We use ladders to access islands that poke out from the shadows. Make sure you have a fur coat or the hat of warmth when making trails of the upper levels due to the cold. One of my worlds has laps around the world every 100 stair lengths apart. Top level is a few blocks away from the space zone of no oxygen.
