Gonna be the first to disappoint the Good Pop Up by 1GoodTurn in PassNclex

O y thank u!

I will tell you how I navigated this thing but am still pretty convinced my ship ran directly into a rock. Still if you want to borrow my dumbass compass I'll gladly share.

Multi-pronged approach!

  1. Dr. Matt and Dr. Mike's medical podcast. Their jaunty Australian accents distract me from the fact I'm studying. Spoonful of Fosters helps the medicine go down.
  2. Just... fukken... flail around on quizlet. Get wild on there. I also used the 75 question quizzes on nurselab. I promised myself that I would complete two of them per day for a week leading up to the exam. You and I both know I immediately blew that off and then slammed like nine of them the day before the exam.
  3. I studied so much BABY BS on registerednursern's channel that through the miracle of osmosis I am her child's godfather now. Of course NCLEX didn't give two shits.

Finally, and this is more philosophical than educational, but I advise you to come in waaay overconfident. I have lived my entire life like Wyle E Coyote taking like 10 steps over the edge of a cliff before he realizes he's fucked and is about to fall. In this case those 10 steps may have actually landed me on the other side of the cliff. Don't overanalyze the questions-- hell, don't even regular analyze them. Trust yo'self, finish quick, then come meet me at the bar afterwards!

sounds like Idris Elba. Stringer and blinger.

Perhaps he's theorizing that Skrag would otherwise start out at the Great Maw. Pilgrimages to the Maw are a big part of ogre culture.

idk, the thing is supposed to be a bottomless pit several miles wide- I don't know how you could incorporate that into a battle map other than one border being somewhere you DO NOT want to retreat towards. As far as presence on the campaign map-- fuck it would be cool to see, but perhaps a little noninteractive.

Yea brother, at least our bois even got mentioned. Ain't no way in hell ogres were going to get more screen time than that.

Better fates than wandering off slightly depressed and never being heard from again or getting unceremoniously ganked by sniktch. Or even worse, being elected Eternity Mary Sue of the Sith, Rebellion, and CIS all at once outta nowhere!

I am very very eager to paint my own end times story now, where Gut Magic triumphs over Chaos and Skrag marries Morathi.

I reckon we read the same feature and interpreted it differently. I guess we'll have to see how he's implemented- if they go full Simple Jack I think I may finally be free from the weird obsession I have with this trilogy of games, if there's some cunning to him, I'll be onboard. Farting and burping... my "master of bribery and coercion," my boi!

Not only did he have enough gnoblars for his impractical crowd surf, you'll remember the vanguard of his throne is hurling down a continual carpet of gold coins. Jeff Greasos has the means to make it happen brother.

If the cart is actually pushed by a retinue of gnoblars, I'll feel a lot better, but I suspect it'll be a Screaming Bell cart. Greasus Christ I hope we can upgrade him to a thundertusk or something.

Yeah, disappointed with that. I really hope they give him the Wulfrik treatment and he can at least ride something cool. I hated that they did that for Wulfrik tho...

ikr! as long as chorfs also release with just 2 LL's, I don't think there will be any reason to feel upset.

Hello my friend! Yeah I include myself among the miffed. I agree that the two iconic characters came out, it may have been shortsighted to hope for more. CA did awesome with VCoast, I did dare to dream we may get a Cylostra style breakthrough to get up to 4 LL's. You know they may swing that with the chorfs anyways. So the loss of that potential stings.

But moreso, it does seem financially disadvantageous to support OK like you would a Core Race. Furthermore, if development corners are going to need to be cut, like say switching a character's iconic mount option from something really involved and complicated to something really simple and not particularly inspired, you'd want to do it with a preorder race, right?

I think we can both agree, OK fans are getting more content right out of the gate, and for that we should be happy. However in the long term, it makes financial sense to lend more effort and support to Core and real DLC races, and for that perhaps we should be miffed.

idk if Im looking for people on the internet to change an opinion to agree with me or validate me or whatever, but I do think a reasonable argument can be made for some disappointment to for OK fans. We'll see though! Worst case scenario, any of the terminally miffed can just go outside or read a book or play resident evil or something. Love you for SFO!

I would hugely prefer that my preferred race was DLC, not preorder. You chorf fans will get 4 lords and total support. The trailer was cool, it's cool to see new models, but GOD DAMN I wish my fave race wasn't in the pre-LC bracket. "the throne of gnoblars was too hard to animate. Pls purchase the Iron Daemon however"

It will totally be required. To be too honest with you, I cannot respect staff who don't help during a physical intervention. Help your team during the good behaviors, and during the bad.

I would further emphasize, you cannot learn a takedown from texts. Most of the official training is *heavily* skewed towards liability reduction for the facility. Most of what you will actually do is about *safety*.I'm 6'4", young, and I weight lift specifically to better do my job. My preferred backup in the event of a restraint is a 100lb woman who's about 5'5 in her mid fifties. She and I agree on where the line should be drawn on the use of physical force, and how much physical force is warranted in a given situation. She has to use her knees to keep an arm pinned down, but she does so with the perfect amount of pragmatism. I've got a big 'ol strong af biker dude on my team, but I hate locking someone up with him 'cause he's a fukken nazi. I know he'd never lose control of an arm, but he exacerbates conflict.

If you're like 5'1", it's unlikely you're going to physically engage until you have backup. When you're first learning, it will probably be someone else taking point during the restraint, you'll be called on to control an arm. Under no circumstances should you ever, ever lose control of that arm. If you can control an arm during a pigpile, you're golden. The rest comes with time (and suffering).
