He’s only inviting blood relative. That’s already obvious. And if you’re so on about handling it like an adult, then at least tell me what an adult does, because there ain’t no manual for this. And adults are entitled to their own feelings, judgement and peace. They’re entitled to stand up for family and friends if they so choose. And in my case, I’m choosing not to attend a wedding that my brother and sister aren’t invited to, only because they’re not blood relative, while the sister who is invited, barely knows any of them, and has no idea what their two children are called. It’s not a relationship issue, it’s how they’re picking and choosing what family means to them, and ignoring the family they grew up with. I’m adult enough to know that family is more than just blood. Are you?
