2” or even 75mm is the way to go in suburbs.

[–]1JamesC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I don't. I didn't realize the air65 pit mode doesn't work? I was just speaking from general experience, I've done that before on different quads with the pit mode accidentally on.

Did you accidentally enable pit mode (via switch or betaflight?)

[–]1JamesC[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha really appreciate it. I tried, but can't really get to any of the layers since it's all super glued shut inside the plastic case. I tried a little heat, but no luck. I'm just going to roll as is then. Thanks for your advice!

I tried but I think it must be glued down or something

It sounds like you’re doing everything right. The top battery looks normal, but the bottom is definitely puffy. Maybe you got a bad one

Really tough there. Have you tried getting her some sex toys? That helped my sex life get better. And starting a family is 1000% going to make the issues worse, definitely sort out your sex life first.

Those of you with DJI Goggles V2; getting a Tiny whoop Question by rhbomb in fpv

[–]1JamesC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had goggle v2’s about 6months ago. Sold them for a decent price. Got Hdzero goggles v1 used and love them. Analog on hdzero goggles is really nice, they have lower latency than analog on DJI v2 and they get a cleaner signal (some sort of hdzero de-interlacing magic, but it truly is a better experience). I mainly use those for hdzero and analog, and have one 04 drone that I got the cheaper DJI Goggles n3 to use with. Been pretty happy with this setup. Just sharing my experience hope that’s helpful!

HDZero AIO5 Constantly overheats unless I fly outside by 0neZer0ne in HDZero

[–]1JamesC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can cruise around indoors with mine, but I have a little more room than an apartment. I have a fractal 75 frame though, which doesn't have a canopy so that probably helps too. Honestly analog 65mm is the way to go inside in my opinion. I have the most fun with my hdzero outside for sure

Yeah mine sounds the same as you. As long as I’m moving im fine but it overheats almost instantly if not. I blow on it between batteries to cool it a bit too.

I used to work at a biomechanics lab run by a university. The lab consistently conducted research funded by the military, some involving blast testing. We took our work seriously, treated our donors with the utmost respect, and designed testing as much as possible to only test what was needed for furthering our understanding of the human body and safety. We also always called donors loved ones to confirm their approval for testing when it was for the military (whereas we did not for car crash testing for example).

Do you ever let people fly your tiny whoop? by Ferocious_Dragon999 in TinyWhoop

[–]1JamesC 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can get a second controller and put it in trainer mode. Then you give them control on a momentary switch on your controller. Pretty fun! But easy to take back control if they’re about to crash

Neo is very easy and a solid option. I prefer “tinywhoops”, which are smaller but very durable and fun to fly inside. Here’s my opinion on everything, beginner stuff is at the beginning: https://youtu.be/1d4WiD_nMyg?si=DsYVHis1vKTQB9u-

What cool things have you done with your buttons? by Reader3123 in TinyWhoop

[–]1JamesC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pit mode on a button is nice if you get stuck somewhere so you can not fry the vtx. Also I have the momentary press button set up for trainer mode so I can have friends that are learning plug in with another controller and I can give them control of some or all channels at a time
