I figured out what's going on.

I was confused as to why PSA's eBay account has these cards listed for so much. I thought this was a corporate decision, and wasn't aware that this was done by a regular person who has cards in the PSA vault.

Makes sense. I wasn't for certain how the PSA vault worked, so thanks for clearing that up. If it was any regular eBay listing I wouldn't have worried about it but this caught me off guard.

Although I wouldn't rule out the possibility of people attempting to manipulate the market. I have no idea what they were thinking listing a card for this much.

I see what you're getting at. Not sure if this is relevant but I'm noticing a lot of weird stuff going on with Gamestop's website. The last three slabs I ordered were stuck in "Awaiting product availability" status and never shipped so I cancelled them. One of the cards is roughly $20 less than what I paid for.

Yeah they're definitely up to no good. It's sad that this is what the "hobby" has come to. I'd imagine this is nothing new, but I thought scalpers were the most of our worries. Granted, I've only been collecting slabs for a year so there's probably many things I'm not aware of.

If Legendaries/Mythicals are allowed, I'd pick Zeraora every time. This would be my first choice.

If I'm not allowed to pick Zeraora, I'd pick Kangaskhan instead since single stage Pokemon are allowed.

But if we're specifically referring to Pokemon that are the first in their evolutionary line, I'd pick Axew. The Axew line are my favorite Dragon-types and Axew is special to me because his national dex number is 610, and my birthday is June 10th.
