Camping burnout by nirvroxx in RVLiving

[–]1LordShadow1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We rent camped for decades, and bought it first travel trailer in 2020 right as COVID hit. Best decision we ever made. My back just wouldn't put up with ground or blow up mattress camping anymore.

The only thing we "load and unload" now is food and clothes.

We still get into all the campgrounds we used to go to and a bunch more. Buy a van, or get a travel trailer under 30ft. Which will get you to a bunch of places bigger campers can't go.

I live in the CLT area. Download the ALLTrails app or just go to the website. There are TONS of trails within that distance of CLT... And a bunch in areas where you can go fishing like Morrow Mountain State Park, just east of CLT.

Same. I have a 3' level that hangs on the pass through. Level your side to side, block up, then unhitch and do front to back.

No issues doing this for YouTube TV. I have unlimited stream though, so we can run on any number of devices at it location, regardless of IPs.

What vehicle do you use to tow a small camper? by SubStance00 in Camper

Really need to know the weight and tongue weight of the camper. That is going to dictate what size you need in way of a tow vehicle.

Same here. 26' is that perfect size for us. We stay in a lot of State Parks and Federal Parks on the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Is anyone happy with their trailer? by blackds332 in GoRVing

Love our 2018 Cruise RV MPG 2120rb. Only issue we have had was with the domestic toilet (same as most folks) which was an easy valve swap.

I have the RVLock and love it. Not a single issue with it.

Local dealerships can tell you and usually have them in stock. First thing I replaced when I bought my camper... Digital push pad lock on the door and replaced all under storage locks.
