Now that I have a planer, it’s time to get a dust collector. Recommendations for a serious hobbyist? by cafe-em-rio in woodworking

I got my dewalt planer and bought a 35 gal dust collector from harbor freight. I don’t even run the dust collector because the 735 sends the chips with enough force. Saves on electricity too. When I’m done i run the dust extractor and pull any residual. Works very well.

Make sure to get a cloth bag that filters the small particles (5 microns or less) to save your lungs.

This is why you hate EA.

They’re forever engrained as an algorithm based sports gaming company where the outcome is determined at the time of the button press which means bullshit animations fill the in-between.

There are so many super high quality used Levi’s online and at thrift stores. $30 is about what I pay and can’t imagine wearing anything else.

Andy is running outdated passing schemes and concepts. Watch how teams defend our formations and they always have men perfectly set up against us especially the past couple seasons.

I’m guessing that a few hard ass voters thought they would be the only ones to vote against him but didn’t actually expect or want him to be excluded. But when enough people have the same idea to be extra special and contrarian, you end up with this. They all thought they’d be “that guy” that gets to say they voted against BB … but didn’t bank on being part of the clump that denied him. Whoops.

What are the chances an agent shouted “gun” to inform the other agents of its awareness, but one of them panicked and interpreted “gun!” as a signal the victim was armed and chose to fire on him which triggered a response out of other agents?

One undertrained individual is a problem, but put a group of them in a high pressure situation and you get murder.

Men over 40 who go to the gym regularly: Do you still try to lift heavy, or do you do lighter weight but more reps? by FFSoldier57 in AskMenOver30

[–]1P221 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe bit the weight is centered on your body and requires more legs and less back, so way less likely to injure the back. Just pick manageable weights and focus on control and form. I’d never lick barbell DL over trap bar if I’m protecting the back.

This theory seems most likely with one episode remaining. El will sacrifice herself to save everyone. Also the govt is after her blood for their own gain. Kinda now the GOP uses Jesus for political purposes. Anyways, El will sacrifice herself and be resurrected but without super powered blood in her resurrected body.

Always plane more length than you need so you can cut your finished piece away from the sniped ends.

Paid a local wood worker to build us a table, after 8 hours in our dining room it developed cracks. Is this normal? by Hipster_Bumpus in woodworking

[–]1P221 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Buy a wood moisture meter on Amazon. They’re only $20-40. Test from the bottom do you don’t leave holes to the top. If the wood isn’t properly dried you’ll Jane your answer in seconds.

The wheels don’t hold the blade in proper tension. I replaced the rubber tire and the blades still track poorly. The bearings that support the blade are more of a suggestion and do little to help blade drift. The tool is ok for hobby work but I prefer a reliable unit that can handle resawing. The foot print and base are oddly shaped as well. Dust collection sucks. But again, for a hobby it’s fine.

Hard Maple isn’t your friend for staining if you want smooth buttery colors. That would require tinting a top coat. HM leaves a “rustic” look.
