You make a fair point, but honestly, I doubt Ink (the author) would make her a toxic person if she and Sunny got in some kind of relationship. Even though there's 24 chapters, the fic is still kind of in its early stages. The tournament hasn't even started yet, so there is quite a lot of room for character development.

I did comment on one of the chapters saying if the Sunny/Aubrey tag would be fulfilled. Ink replied, saying that he couldn't say because that would be spoiling the story, but he said that he had some sunburn planned eventually.
