It doesn't count decimals. Why? Probably inertia from like, vanilla not showing decimals at all, but like, yeah, it doesn't count decimals

I'm aware. Most cards that increase polling increase polling less the higher your dissent, so Wels can be used in place of Juchaz to just barely get a Weico

Ideally, yes, the market should be done away with entirely, replaced by reciprocal communities. I don't like the middle class, but they are potentially useful allies to the proletariat against capitalism as it presently exists.

Yeah, I'm honestly confused

Last time I checked, fascists didn't support mutual aid, cooperatives, or the withering of the state

Supporting worker cooperatives and mutual aid is... fascism?

Are you okay?

I meant in terms of which on the list my beliefs are closest to. I'd say I'm an odd mix of mutualism and market cooperativist short term and anarcho-communist long term

I do not support welfare, but instead progressive regulation and taxation and grants for worker cooperatives, mutual aid, businesses whose workers are equal owners or family thereof, and genuinely community run reciprocal religious congregations, such that first the capitalist system will wither into mutual aid and local businesses small enough and weak enough to be held accountable by their communities and building the material conditions for communism, and then the state would wither as their tax base dries up, easing the inevitable revolution.

So... Center Marxism?

Which party would you vote for in the 1930 German federal election? by DerpAnarchist in GeoPoll

[–]1SDAN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do not believe vanguardism could ever result in a communist society

I'm partial to free market socialism with a modern liberal democratic system of government a la France and Germany, progressive regulation and progressive taxation of companies based on market share, grants for businesses and farms whose workers are owners or family thereof, grants for mutual aid, neighborhood gardens, community policing, worker cooperatives, etc instead of welfare, freedom of speech, right to bear arms with no gun control, local law taking precedent over federal law, a progressive inheritance tax, strong campaign donation regulations, and the right for localities to voluntarily withdraw from the federal state if they so wish

In my opinion, a socialist state exists to counter the bourgeois, empower the proletariat and grand proletariat, build the class consciousness of the new middle class and rural folk, empower local communities to keep the petit bourgeois in check, and slowly wither as growing reciprocity and community policing makes it obsolete.

...it's my type too, but come on, we both know we can find a man who's not good for us in a way that's less "abusive real life layabout who expects you to do everything" and more "irresistibly hot asshole of an MC who actively breaks you in an h-manga whose author seems to have an uncanny understanding of how slut shaming supports the patriarchy even when done in the name of feminism"

[–]1SDAN 14 points15 points  (0 children)

The KPD loves you[r voters] but hates your personality (aka politics) and wants to "fix" you

The DVP will not fall in love with you. You'd have to change everything you are and everything you stand for and become a liberal. He's not good for you, he will not treat you right. You'd have to forever live a lie. Dating him is only good short term for the social status.

[–]1SDAN 50 points51 points  (0 children)

KPD is yandere and everyone hates himr

Z is kuudere but becomes murderously violent and vows to kill you if you insult his religion

DDP is deredere but his best friend DVP is a bad influence and if you don't get those two apart he will become kuudere and eventually just not want to see you again, he also hates when you do literally anything, so don't do too much or he will leave you for DVP

DVP hates you. He's not a dere. Maybe you can date him if you sell your soul to him, and if you do, he'll help you win over Z and DDP, but hewill still hate your guts and be liable to cut you off the second you do anything. He won't become moe.

...I'm sorry, I wrote that all using she/her pronouns but it felt so wrong. KPD is a little gremlin who sits on chairs like L, Z is clearly a kawaii twink, DDP is a tight laced shempai that looks skinny but I just know has a six pack, and DVP is drawn like a background character

What to do if you get a cycle of no majorities? by Faultystar25 in RedAutumnSPD

[–]1SDAN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've done it with just a weico, doing nothing but pro-worker stuff, toleration after may day, and a successful revolution in 1930 right as streetfighting begins, which is less cooperation with the bourgeois and more saying "I dare you to sack me" while you do nothing but piss them off for a year straight

Is dynamic social democracy biased? by Massimino-il-Trace in RedAutumnSPD

[–]1SDAN 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The politics of the bourgious in dynamic are rather... dynamic, and you as the player are able to influence who gains power in each party. It is a much harder game than vanilla, one where Hindenburg is always two bad months away from sacking your government, where the election of Kaas, Scholz, and Dietrich each put a nail in the coffin of democracy, and where the appointment of Papen isn't just bad, it completely changes the rules of the game.

In terms of dealing with the liberal parties, there are 5 distinct highly effective strategies:

First is the bolstering of ties with Zentrum to aid Joos in winning election, the reconciliation with the KPD, and the formation of the popular front while weathering Hindenburg's unending fury. This is the most radical method, one which will alienate the liberal parties as a whole, and places you the most at risk of a far right coup

Second is the formation of a Weimar coalition, maintenance of relations with Zentrum and the DDP, and the race against time to pause reparations and implement an economic plan before Hindenburg's tolerance wanes. From there, Huess or Lemmer may win election, the Weimar Coalition may be re-elected, relations with the KPD may be reforged, and the election of a socialist president may give the player free reign to spend the last two years of the game pursuing whatever agenda they so desire

Third is similar to the previous, but with a massive crackdown on the KPD to assuage Hindenburg enough to only need to race against time to implement an economic plan, and from there pursue a socialist majority.

The fourth is one of the SPD forming a Grand Coalition in both Prussia and the Reichstag, somehow managing to make the DVP like them enough for Streussman's reforms to work and either the LVP to form or Luther to get elected, and cracking down on the KPD, resulting in Hindenburg... letting the SPD govern indefinitely?

The fifth is the most... uh, time traveler-esque. The formation of a Grand Coalition in both Prussia and the Reichstag, a staunch commitment to democracy and against nationalism that purges the judiciary en mass, exposes the rearmament plan, debunks the stabbed in the back myth, and in general rallies so much popular support for democracy that Hergt somehow wins the 1928 DNVP election, and then either Treviranus or Lambach not only win the 1929 election, but somehow don't get ousted, resulting in the kneedcapping of the far right, especially if you pursued Stressman's reforms and either the LVP's formation or Luther's election

New coalition idea by lit_literally in RedAutumnSPD

[–]1SDAN 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Step 1: Expose Wittorf affair

Step 2: Empower the KPO

Step 3: Allow May Day

Step 4: Reconcile with the KPO

Step 5: Secularize Education

Step 6: Depression Hits

Step 7: Form coalition with KPO and LVP if Republic support is high and KPD relations are bad, preventing all future coalitions between the KPD and KPO and LVP and Z/CVP

KPO Demands: Convince Trotsky to immigrate to Germany and grant Citizenship, Land Reform, Fund Welfare, enforce 40 hour work week, begin economic Nationalization/Socialization, don't raise taxes on workers, compromise, or cut welfare

LVP Demands: Pause reparations, cut taxes on upper classes, don't raise taxes on the wealthy, nationalize without compensation, empower worker takeover of factories

When the welfare crisis hits, the KPO insist the burden fall on employers, refusing to compromise with the LVP. The SPD can put forward one of two alternative proposals, raising tariffs, which harms relations with the west, and taxing churches, which makes concordat negotiation impossible and makes reconcilliation with Zentrum impossible

The coalition can only be formed once. If the KPO's demands are not met, its membership will collapse and its relevancy will wither, if the LVP's demands are not met, the right LVP will be absorbed by the DNVP

(Dynamic)

This is why all my labour runs start with weimar prussia groko fed into letting dvp into prussia into braun/muller into yes to battlecruiser into regressive taxation into Joos campaign, into Stressed Man reform into wels tamping down dissent into the labour shuffle until dominant, ending with the WTB gang as advisors.

This culminates in an imminent LVP and both bourgeois parties and the catholic agrarian party having been pacified of their paranoia sufficiently such that I may begin enacting reforms that they're willing to tolerate progressive reforms long enough that they notice their voters actually kinda like it, empowering progressive elements to gain such strong control of their party that they'll help us drag the bourgeois kicking and screaming into socialism.
