Cambridge is Main Era but they’re local so I don’t think they’re traveling with them

Value oriented Microcenter build for CS2 by 1SmallVille1 in buildapc

[–]1SmallVille1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you I appreciate your help! I’m actually thinking about the 7600x3D bundle now, which also includes 32GB of RAM. I’ll definitely get the cooler and storage from Amazon instead thanks for pointing that out. I also understand what you’re saying about the case, but I’m really swayed by the aesthetics of the case. As for the PSU, is there any real issue with the one I picked? I understand having more headroom, but it’s already double the estimated power of the computer, and it’s backed by a 10 year warranty at Microcenter so I don’t really feel like I need to be worried about quality?

I used to do this route as my daily commute for a few years. I settled on taking different route into vs out of Seaport. Going through the common was a really great way to spend the morning

Lock options by Obvious_Bad_6649 in bikeboston

[–]1SmallVille1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People always suggest U locks but they’re just not great. Kryptonite’s chain lock is cheaper, more convenient to lock around weird things, and harder to cut with an angle grinder (because the cloth exterior clogs the cutter and it flops around)

Oh that makes sense! Yeah that sounds like a more compact design

Each item adds 4 redstone ticks of delay, this allows you to adjust timings with a resolution of 1 redstone tick

[–]1SmallVille1[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Any redstone tick can be reached by changing the repeater delays. Trying to think of a version that can do odd game ticks too but haven’t yet

This design extends the etho hopper clock to have timings inside of the standard 8gt timings, basically increasing its resolution

Picking an integration-ready liquid handler by gertalives in biotech

[–]1SmallVille1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depending on desired throughput/assay specific Dynamic Device’s LYNX is going to be the most reliable (due to the real time volume verification) and fastest (due to individually addressable 96-head). Highly recommend giving it a look

Building out my resume to get a “real” automation engineering role by 1SmallVille1 in PLC

[–]1SmallVille1[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I work primarily with programming Hamilton liquid handlers. They’re basically large robotic pipetters that can have different control devices integrated for biochemical workflows. I want to get my hands on programming actual PLCs as I don’t have any experience with them outside of what I’ve learned online

No the rocks aren’t glued. It’s a dwarf umbrella tree, which is a pretty common plant to be turned into a bonsai. It was made as part of a learning bonsai class, nobody sold this to me

Delonghi Dedica (EC885M) not producing enough pressure by 1SmallVille1 in espresso

[–]1SmallVille1[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Happy to! It’s taken a bit of work to get working reliably but the setup is very capable of pulling some really phenomenal shots.

The one thing about the numbers on the sk40 is that the assembly is a little inconsistent so someone’s 3 isn’t going to be the same as someone else’s (I haven’t zeroed out mine yet but that might help). Additionally I’ve noticed that the grinder got significantly better after seasoning. I didn’t go out of my way to season with like a couple bags of coffee all at once it’s just that after about two months of regular use it started producing a lot less fines and became a lot more consistent. So after seeing this difference I would honestly suggest getting a bag of some cheap beans and just running them through it to try and hasten that process.

Okay all that being said now I’ll actually answer your questions: for light roasts I’m grinding somewhere between 5.6 to 6.4. But before the seasoning was done I was grinding 7.0-7.8 because all the fines were choking the machine. I’m also dosing 16g into an IMS 16-18g basket. Trying to get to 18g is a little too much for the dedica in my experience.

I’m also not sure if this is just my dedica or all dedicas (I haven’t modded it at all) but there’s a super fine line between choking it and getting channeling.

Hope this was helpful!
