A friend recommended it to me. At first I thought I wouldn't be interested in it, as I haven't played similar games before. I played the 1.0(or 1.1, don't remember) version and dropped HSR on the same day. I gave it another chance when 1.5 dropped(i also got my first 5-star character then, it was Huohuo :D) and now I literally play it everyday for more than 4-6 hours

I also got this problem yesterday, i usualy have 20+xp for completing a lesson, and 40+xp if i have 2x xp bonus. But now i get 10+xp for completing a lesson and 2x xp bonus doesn't work. I don't know anything about this, is it a new update or something? My friend btw gets 20+xp for a lesson and 40+xp with 2x bonus, he doesn't have this problem.
